Steve as ever sage advice. Based from years of time both on the bank and the boat. Often early on in the season the single fly is a good tactic. I often have the black and green on a dropper with the fab or boobie on point. With either fast glass, DI3, or DI5.
Brilliant stuff Steve…..I’ve had some early season success with the orange blob but only on the sink tip. I’ll be trying it on my Di 3 line after this video. Will stock up on those humongous patterns too……a watched a young lad land a huge trout fishing with a gold and black humongous patterns just yards from the bank at our local Llyn last season and thought it was a fluke catch….Silly me for not paying attention !
@@stevecullenflyfishingflyty7729 so you just use them for pulling flies like any other sinking leader, with the added benefit that you can vary depths and work more of the water column in each cast vs level sinking lines? would love to see a video on how to use them effectively

black and green great for the start off the season , last year did a black and green variant off your TEQ fly worked a treat .
