Not only do they have normal skintones instead of matching their coat colours, but they aren't even wearing stuff the EG characters wear, and they look more like adults in that fanart. Also, if you look at the link, the fanart was posted early 2012, back around season 2. I don't think EG even was a thing back then, so Sunset Shimmer didn't exist, either. :)
