@@petatap3737 A lot of it is, of course, the player, as soprano saxes have a tendency to have finicky intonation. It takes a lot of skill to master tone quality on these instruments. However, the quality of the horn, as well as the mouthpiece attached to it, play a large role in the tone produced.
@@mysticmegamewtwo6857 This is definitely true. I own a cannonball and it is definitely not the most in tune instrument I've ever played, but it still has a nice playing tone. I played it all through high school and still do to this day, I had a CSU professor comment on how nice it sounded when he came to class one day. It's a curved model and it really sounds very bright for my jazz pieces, but the other neck and mouthpiece I have take the edge off and make it sound more warm and mellow for stuff like this. I really enjoy it alot. I've always wanted a yani, but my budget simply doesn't allow for it. This guy is amazing, and I really love the sound he's producing here. Bravo.
Well the player and the insttument sincrony i'm an oboist :) ... but here the reed + instrument + personal breath style!!! A mess.... greets from Argentina!!!
I have the parts for this piece in the French edition by Henry Lemoine. Is that the same edition you used . I play a Selmer soprano , the last manufactured Mark V1 modek in 1981 with a Selmer E mpiece and No 3 soft , filed D’Addario Select Jazz reed. Your tone is warmer in the lower register than me using the Selmer E and you obtain perfect tuning !
which is warmer but not so clear in the high register . How do you think these 2 different soprano saxes compare in sound quality ? I bought mine in new condition ?
that sound is fantastic! would you mind share your mouthpiece/reed, I know it doesn't come from it. But I like that round kind of clarinet sound you get.
Amazing tone quality. It is something between oboe and clarinet, but none of them. What mouthpiece do you use to achieve this warm and classical timbre?
Comentario idiota totalmente!!!

Actually, the player is. :D
Исполнение очень трогает! И у Вас замечательное вибрато.
The saxophonist, mouthpiece, reed and a significant amount of skill has a an amount of tone

Very nice!
Wow♡
Amusing. But this was written for a guitar. Have you got a sax plus guitar version? I did not find.
Wow
Beautiful playing, is that mouthpiece an S80, Concept or something different altogether?
Thank you! It’s S80/190.
Simplemente hermosa melodía... ❣️
Thanks!

Thank you! In this video I play on the Selmer S90 190, now I use Selmer Concept.
@@artemgolodnyuk6968 Thanks for reply.
うまいな~個人的にはフルートよりリード楽器の音色がしっくりくるってのもある。ちなみに自分はクラリネットで1900と1930は昔演奏してたな
Me podrías facilitar la partitura por favor? Gracias de antemano😄
It's a super saiyan clarinet
roughly what grade sax would this be? Im thinking around 7
I am studying this for my grade 7

Piazzolla fue un genio, su único error fue ser argentino. Como boliviano o panameño le hubiese ido mejor en este mundo.
Que estúpido comentario
