I love how they didn't go for the switch type gameplay and went with a solo character with 2 AI companions. It separates itself from games like PGR, HI3 or even genshin and it's honestly fun to see characters fighting side by side. Will definitely play this long term after I retire from the Hyperion.

Aether Gazer is developed by the people at Yongshi who did Azur Lane, not Arknights which is by Hypergryph. They just happen to have the same publisher that is Yostar (Blue Archive JP, Arknights, Mahjong Soul), lookin forward to this game :D

Aether Gazer has a pseudo auto-battle. If you pulled really good S units and built 2 of them well you can literally have those 2 AI controlled mods clear the stage for you w/o your main mod doing anything lol.
Also I'm quite surprised at how good the AI is in controlling the mods. They literally are doing good combos and dodging well enough that they don't die or even take too much damage. Props to Yostar in not making infuriating dumb AI companions.

The AI did better controlling the character than me. Fluent combo and higher Damage output overall. I usually use support like Ruha that pull enemies together so my team can kill them faster.😅

The niche of this game seems to be a really accessible, player friendly and more casual action rpg compared to HI3rd and PGR. The performance is great even on very old devices

Just started playing this game and the amount of free rewards for the global release, the endgame content and the overall level of rewards for just completing the story and achievements is astonishing. Its so f2p friendly and the story is genuinely interesting. The characters have really unique personalities and although a lot of them share some resemblance to characters from other games, their personalities seem so alive and interesting. I'm so so excited for the release of the rest of the characters from the CN servers like Hades who has one of the coolest playstyles I've ever seen. So far, I couldn't be more satisfied
How does the difficulty compare to genshin or pgr
@@user-me1mv4vy9q I'd say that genshin is a bit hard to compare to the game due to the difference in combat style. But in comparison to PGR, its practically the same. For me, I've already built 2 dps characters quite well so I've been breezing through a lot of stages and challenges. Of course, as your level increases so does the difficulty so u have to keep upgrading ur modifiers in order to keep up.
Back in the CBT a while ago, take note that my phone isn't all that remarkable, the performance is basically a bearable power point presentation but ever since the release they've optimized the absolute sh*t out of this game.
Allow me to say, they've got a bit of Kuro's optimizing black magic.

The optimization of this game is just brilliantly done. I have not experienced any issues with overheating compared to other action rpg game such as pgr and hi3.

I'll be honest. When I saw the Beta, I wasn't really convinced that it was a good game. Boy was I wrong XD. I really like this game a lot. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Hoping it gets more attention

@@rouvichernandez1863😭😭😭truly , the most hellish gacha ever , lostbelts inflict emotional damage, and then the gacha system gives you an uppercut every time you roll for a new servant.
I find that playing these games as F2P or ultra lite spender (5/mo) is best. Do it for the story and don't try to get more than a few 5s. And when you don't get more than one copy. These game gets so ready and lame otherwise.

AG is a pleasant surprise, good gameplay and very f2p friendly.
I've been playing this game since it came out and really enjoying it! I only wish it had a dedicated PC port instead of an Android emulator. I don't think I have a full grasp on the mechanics of team building and everything, but I'm having fun and the animations for the attacks and team-up ultimates are always fun!

It is in fact not developed by the same developer as Arknights, i believe it was published by the same publisher, Yostar, but not made. It is the same as Azur Lane tho iirc, i wouldn’t surprised if it is generous knowing how Azur Lane had 7% rate for SSR(i don’t play it anymore, don’t know if anything changed).
I just started playing this game like days ago and I've been hooked since. Getting materials to do pulls is super easy and they're super generous in giving it.
Yostar is a publisher. I wish people (and specifically reviewers) didn't mistake publishers with developers. Yongshi is the developer. And while, yes, Yongshi co-developed Azur Lane, and is a quality studio, they don't have anything to do with other games mentioned that Yostar merely publishes.
I played it. The day after it released and it was really good specially the chances for getting good modifiers are pretty good hehe
I'm not sure about the super f2p thing, what I read from the old players experience from CN they said it's difficult to get pulls in the later game, so they suggest us to save as much as possible.
Not only pulls but Energy too, there’s a lot of materials to grind for, 1 run of a specific material can literally drain your energy to single digit and gonna wait another day for a full recover. I hope Yostar will improve the energy refresh time.
@@maskedranchu4448 Energy is kinda fine in my opinion. I find a lot of people saying stamina system is a problem, but I'm not a grinder, so taking time to slowly progress is ok (unless it takes TOO much time to recover, then I'll argue.
This game really have everything from others games: Honkai + PGR. But i cant deny, this game looks pretty awesome like PGR.
Yeah the whole gameplay is fun and I was able to have some of the heroes as a new player. Good thing I saw this game before as an add in yt and I was so curious abt it then I started playing for 3 days already and I'm currently at lvl 43. So lucky to have jin-ei in my team and now I can't stop myself from playing it XD
I'd definitely try it if there was a PC vers.

i love this game because it reminds me a lot of psp games i used to play back then where i have companion(valhalla knights, ys seven) wish the companion have other skill except ult(maybe if we tap their icon before ult they can use extra skill?)
yeah this game is super f2p friendly, my main acc got SS shinri (yeah won 2 50/50 first copy i got on my first 2nd single and the copy on 50th-ish pity) and her weapon (in 27? not sure i got it from a single xD) in just a total of 80-90-ish pulls which i got from story and missions throughout the entirety of 4 days and alongside SS shinri i also got rahu and jin-ei. I have an alt and it also got 4 5 stars the first 3 was actually lucky cuz i got the 3 (S poseidon, rahu, kagu) from the free 40 pulls they gave and it was back to back 5 star XD. and sadly i lost the 50/50 on shinri banner to a kagu dupe but its fine as long as im guaranteed lol.
Overall this game's pretty generous and higher rates than the usual 1.0% in most gacha games. Highly recommended cuz its addictive LMAO
Been playing it for almost 5 months and i doesn't disappoint at all the music is also amazing too and the story is damn good.
Currently playing both AG and PGR, while it's not a tryhard fast-paced mobile ARPG like PGR, I am actually quite enjoying AG, I just treat it like a beat em up game where I can turn off my brain and just mow down enemies for fun when I'm not playing PGR lol
This game is a relaxing haven after malding for hours in pgr
So its basicly honkai impact base mechanic, PGR vibes, and MOBA control all in one.
And one thing they managed to get was the marketing momentum, when HSR hype is a bit over, they ride the train next.
And thank god this is not as stressful as PGR......
been playing this game with starter team and damn they are fun rare moment in gacha game.

This is the only game i re rolled so much only to get the best value, cause i wanna play this game for a long time in the future
The game pretty fun but no PC client is a deal breaker for now (The mobile version is pretty good if you are into that, I can't play on mobile cuz I always have my PC with me at work or home and PC>>Mobile unless I'm on the move)
Other than that, the story and world building is mid, some of the music is freakin boop but there isnt that many of them and most of them are only okay, the graphic is alright, the character design is okay for the most part but I have to put them one tier bellow Genshin, HI, and PGR but I guess it is personal taste and mostly cuz all of those game have great story for each character so not only they have great character model to suck you in but also good story to make you really like them and willing to simp for them.
The combat... I have mixed feeling. On one hand it is cool that you can have all 3 character on field but only being able to control one means the combat get boring and repititive much quicker than HI3 or PGR. Not only you would want to use your strongest team, you also probably pick the best character you have which mean the majority of the time you will only control 2-3 character until you reach a point where you can trivialize the content or the content is more casual in nature. Gacha game have a lot of character but take a long time to unlock them so spending dozen if not hundreds of hour on just a couple of character is just not a very appetizing prospect imho.
There are plenty of other game to play outside of Genshin like Honkai, PGR, StarRail etc and of course the B2P game that is not gacha like Souls series, God of War etc so it isn't worth it to waste time playing a game with sub optimal experience, oh and Wuthering Waves coming soon probably in a few months as well and it looks better in almost every single way and it will come to PC too so that's that
The game looks awesome! high quality animations are what really pull me in a lot of the time.
Unfortunately I'll have to give it a pass if theres no PC version.

The game is actually really fun. The character models are gorgeous, gameplay is super clean and building a character doesn't take that much effort.
Obtaining Sigils are super easy, you just spam the Sigil event and without much time, you already have a character with all 6 five-star Sigils.
I'm not gonna say anything about the gacha since all gacha games have their own upside and downside.
The AI modifiers will sometimes go nuts, dodging attacks, spamming combos and deals lots of damage.
I've been playing the game nonstop since the global release and i can't wait for future updates to drop.
If only there is a game that is exactly like this but with a function to create our own character

I mean it has the Gacha system friendly like AL while also having a core fun element of hack and slash games. As well as Combo system to reward you on how Stylish you can go. Basically my dream Gacha game. Finally someone did it. Yostar is an absolute GOAT.

I played PGR. So far this game seems to appeal to my liking. I've been playing the game and enjoying it.
Please please make a guide video for this game. It’s so fun but the upgrading system is little bit confusing.
I've been playing for a few weeks now and it's incredibly fun! The weapon banner isn't a scam (it's actually really REALLY cool), you only play once character at a time so you don't feel the need to over learn a certain play style or even to chase meta characters. That said, I have almost every character, only missing three. Almost everyone is at SS and quite a few are at SSS. The low(-ish) wish cost plus a pretty decent 1.6 rate AND a guarantee (after a 50/50 loss ofc) is pretty awesome! Most games with a high rate don't have any sort of guarantee at all (Arknights). I'm really excited to see where AG goes from here.

Game is so generous, i got needed 5* access keys for my modifiers, high drop rates, easy mats, and the amount of end game contents.
I wud have give it a try if the charac designs arent so offputting... The A ranks r much decent than the S ranks, n u can see how obvious they r inspired from multiple game/anime characs but still they didnt make it right *i meant the S rank*, while the A rank on the other hand r very fitting to their designs n combat styles.
Hope they have better design for future characs tho, which i might give it a try by then. Still, hope those who r playin enjoy it.
I honestly couldn’t agree more with u gacha gamer this game definitely exceeded my expectations I never would’ve seen the day I’d come across another rare game aside from hundred soul which has been taken off app stores which is a real bummer where u would have ur ai companions fight along side u wen I first played it I thought it was just a 1 time thing for the tutorial BUT OMFG DID IT PROVE ME WRONG it sucks cuz I only got 1 more chapter to play through after not being able to put my device down 😭😭😭😭I love how the developers actually thought it was time to switch it up not everyone wants to play games forever with the normal switching back and forth from character to character wen fighting enemies that is my favorite battling system in any game I wish there was more games out like this
The fact that a 10 roll on this game can be farmed just by doing dailies in 2 weeks or so astounds me. I'm used to farming those 10 rolls for months
It terrifies me what sort of gachas your playing that it takes months of dailies for a multi's worth of gacha currency
How many pull can you get if you do all of the F2P content everypatch? (outside of the one time currency from story etc where it disappear after you do it once)
Genshin only give like 50+? pull every patch which is like 7-10 pull a week (6 week for every patch). The daily on genshin barely give anything but event, paimon shop, abyss, event etc give out quite a lot
While PGR only give out like 35-40 every patch but you need less pull to get SSR and they release character slower so you can get all of the character as F2P, as long as you play every single day

@Arrowess I think that's normal. And by normal, I meant that for a fixed amount grabbed on dailies and weekly missions. I didn't factor the stuff like annihilation for arknights or the pain cage for pgr. The patch maintenance compensation is excluded too.
Like AK gives us 6000 per month without those and fgo gives around 24 or so (not including the login bonuses every 50 days iirc) while games like counterside and Blue archive have variable incomes so just putting the weekly and daily mission incomes is unfair cos most of their rolls came from ranking on raids/pvp and events.
@にゃあエイリアンMeowAlien Tbh I have no clue when it comes to patches nor future contents of the game, seeing as I just played the beta for global and nothing else. Oh and as for pgr, it's a bit unlikely to get every character now unless you're one of the few who joined after the Nier collab. The uns 10 roll cost just eats it, but nonetheless, if it's for omns, then you can definitely pity all of em granted you skip the uns.
the game had severe audio bug during launch, making it almost unplayable. Glad they fixed it immediately in hours. Now I'm enjoying it so much, they even have controller support for Android just like PGR!
I can already see that this game will collab with some anime such as SAO with Kirito, Asuna or even Argo and Mito (Argo is already in the first chapter of manga, but not in the anime, but Mito is a anime original character)(Kirito can Chain with Asuna and Argo, while Asuna can chain with Mito and Argo). There's also Bofuri with Maple and Sally or Mai and Yui 😂😂(Maple can Chain with Sally, or with Mai and Yui).

Honestly very interested in the game so far and would like to be recommended games that are similar with the ai teamates since it reminds me of dragalia lost.
Now I'm interested in this game, which is basically 3d guardian tales tho this game has better AI more skills and passives and even mobility or dodge button. while i like pixel games like terraria, pokemon, and old jprgs playable on mobile, 3d action games with their own animations for every movement has their own charm.
What I like about the AI is that they're better than me. Skill issue on my part but my main dps deals 2x more damage when the AI plays it

Aether Gazer doesn't have Immersive Openworld Anime ARPG elements like Genshin Impact which it's lacking and Wuthering Waves is just around the corner it's like PGR but Openworld the better game overall 💯

And what's the big deal about the open world? like having open world makes the game more fun. It's just walking around there on the plains and nothing, there's nothing great other than meeting some mobs and defeating them.
i like how the community tierlist pretty much shiet on all future s rank mods with only the truly top tier ones not get trashed. if you get shinri and 2-3 s rank you pretty much only need to pull 2 or at most 3 units that truly relevant as f2p. personally i'd get shinri signature functor to truly up her damage.
It looks like PGR so much but new ambience and character is just great

You can turn down the effects! Even specifically for your ai companions if needed :)

I returned to pgr for pc client release but I get overwhelmed by a lot of things to do xD and I quit again after playing for like 2 days(don't get me wrong..game is good..I'm just being lazy)!I'm currently having fun with Aether Gazer! Interesting characters, nice gameplay and the ultimate chain skill is pretty fresh... But it does feel like a PGR for kids, dont get me wrong, its fun to play but its far from being as spectacular as PGR, for me at least...
Genshin is open-world, not worth comparing... Even tho it might be open world and beautifully done, but wow, 1 skill 1 signature, thats all... Would have been better to have less characters, more skills and combinations... But the reactions are pretty cool so its still good in my books, except the Gacha, Genshin Gacha is the worst i've seen

I'm so addicted for this game last week i play star rail for many times but this game has been fun for me than star rail for now
been playing since day one and I currently have every single character while only putting in the $5 monthly thing that give me 90 gems every day. As long as you do your dailies every day you can easily get a multi every week. that's 4 every month. 70 pulls for guaranteed. Yeah this game is pretty f2p friendly :D

The minus is an B rank or A rank doesn't have true value once you get an SS rank character.
The game shower you with a lots of summon due to the duping system which allow a B rank character to become S rank yet still low in damage/capability.
Still it's a great game for F2Player

It's looks VERY similar to PGR, even the HUD aesthetics looks the same.
Currently trying this game while playing PGR. I've also tried HI3.
Among all the 3,PGR is still better overall for me. The only thing that HI3 or AG do significantly better is the story presentation. The voice acting and simple animations really help immersion.
I also prefer PGR's art direction, AG art style feels too similar to the likes of Genshin, HSR, ZZZ, HI3, Higan, etc. They're getting ubiquitous and dare I say generic. The character designs are cool though, I prefer them more than HSR's character designs.
The UI is good as well, the game also seem F2P friendly but not as F2P friendly as PGR. Nothing, even with higher rates, beat a 100% guarantee.
As for the combat, I think I need to play more to notice the nuances but so far it feels less complicated than PGR. I kinda like how they just let you play as a single character with the other two as AIs, it feels unique. However, it feels like it requires significantly less skill to maneuver a single unit compared to the other two Arena-based ARPGs.

U cant rly compare the aesthetic style between AG n hsr tho, its completely diff. What AG failed is that they take direction from both PGR n Hoyo style but didnt make it right, the characs design on AG especially their S rank r so lackluster when u put it next to pgr, everythin is so off. But its rly a personal taste kind of thing.
It's the opposite for me. I prefer PGR story. AG story which is basically "we're living in vr world and everything and everybody is just a data" Doesn't do it for me. But I don't really click with pgr combat where you basically have to mach your runes
@@origirindra1590 I mean, not the writing itself but the presentation. I love PGR's story more than AG. It's just that voice-acting and a bit of animation helps with the "story presentation."
There so much depth with the combat in PGR though. It's not just basically connecting the colors. That's why there is something called core passives for all characters. The same mechanics is also used in Wuthering Waves I think.
Hearing this game required less skill than both hi3 and pgr is good enough for me to give the game a try

Im liking it so far, got Tsukuyomi after 2 pity on her banner so it took a lot of resources... and Im kinda worried to see that people who got her dupe to get her to SS have around 50% more stats than me with everything else (sigils etc) being the same, from 2300 atk to 3400 atk, 900 def to 1600 def and 11k hp to 17k hp. That seems like a lot of strenght for dupes, I can imagine SSS-Omega Tsukuyomi can 1shot the game.
I would have preferred if dupes didn't feel like a must, at least one, after seeing this. If they're gonna make the difference THIS huge, we should be allowed to farm pieces of the characters we already pulled, period, even if they're from a limited banner.

only solution I could see your statement being able to fit in would be if they were to give 3-5 pieces per *month* as grindable and to be priced highly
otherwise I don’t really see it as plausible financiary wise for a *limited S rank*

Here from 2024 March just downloaded and like fr got guaranteed 5 star is was like expect from art , fighting style and animations how good it will get and trust me its f2p and i am f2p player in all games so for me its better than genshin 😂😂

just downloaded the game on Bluestacks, I like game's that I can play with a controller, but man that's hard in this game, I need to figer out how to do that, don't know if this is a game for me, but it looks amazing, but if I cant play with a contoller I'm not playing this game sadly
The events are for end game players though. I couldn't even damage the enemies in the event stages
