If you have no employees and no payroll do you still need to file 941? Or what needs to be done at that time?

Hello, Miss Amanda. This is Rickey Hughes again. I have just watched your most recent video about "How to E-File Form 941". I do have a home based business in Bookkeeping and Accounting. It is a small business as well. In my business, I have no employees. As you can see, I am self-employed. However, if I were to E-FILE Form 941, for payroll, for employees of other small businesses, would this apply to me? This is what I would like to know. Please let me hear from you about this at the earliest convenience possible. I may need your help with this.

Also may I say, it is such a pleasure having you for a business finance coach. You seem to be easy to get along with.
Again, I look forward to hearing from you concerning the video I have just watched about "How to E-File Form 941". Thank you for sharing this video. I think it would be so great to hear from you again. Until I do, take care.

@@rickeyhughes7380 I just started PayME, Payroll-filing Made Easy, to help Business Owners/their bookkeepers efile form 94x entirely online with an industry-first solution that requires NO software, contract or IRS PIN, which seems perfect for you. You definitely would be able to use our solution to efile form 941 for your clients (but as a CPA/Bookkeeper you also would need to have Form 8655: Reporting Agent Authorization in place to sign for your clients).

@@rickeyhughes7380 If you have seasonal workers, you must check Part 3, line 18 every time you file your return. You certainly can amend form 941 by filing form 941-X. However, you cannot efile it. You must file by paper. Our sister company TaxMe has a tool to help fill out the amended return (which you would then need to print and file). Here's a link: tax-me.com/w_941XX.php. Also, we can help you get caught up if you need to file old return.
