I like mine awfully well it is so slim I can hardly feel it in pocket and all those reserve knives hold a good edge I use the jumbo whittler or swell center whittler more than any of them i just made a walking stick with it and it's a strong knife. Thanks KD
Love the looks of that one, especially the blade shape. Sometimes it looks like the blade is too long for that handle, because it's so substantial. Thanks for showing it.
Great knife! I love single-blade knives . . . and the Elephant Toe/Sunfish pattern, so will have to get one soon. So far, I've only bought two RRRs -- a pair of the Barlows (one for me; one an X-Mas gift for brother). I couldn't agree with you more on carrying/using your knives. Of late, I've been rotating three of my nicer single-blade Barlows: Boker Expedition, Case (Carribean Blue Bone), and said RRR. Thanks for showing this one off, and thanks for all the great videos! :)
Nice . 👍 A Made in the U.S.A. tang stamp would only make it better , but sadly it no longer seems possible to produce a similar ( in terms of materials , design and manufacturing standards ) knife , at the same price point , here in the U.S.A. . Ask yourself , what would Case charge for the exact same knife ? So we are left with , pay more or buy offshore . Great review . Peace , Be Free .

That knife is gorgeous. Brawn and beauty all rolled into one! If I remember right, didn't they also make a Rhino Toe that had two blades, maybe wharncliffes? Might be why this one got the Hippo Toe name. But since elephant, rhino, and hippo are now taken, they are running out of large African mammals to name the next pattern after. 😂 Cheers, buddy!

Not a fan of micarta, but it's still a nice looking knife. Also wish the blade was made in the US rather than China.
