It's not usually one "fix", but I recommend healthy eating, getting enough sleep, removing chemicals/toxins from your home, lots of hydration - all of these things are helpful!
I would do a wah with a dopey sound on the chorus, the goo I usually just do for a head voice, the G is a good consonant to connect vocal chords especially for breathy singers, I don’t get mix out of Goo?

Sophie and I were both trained by Brett Manning, which explains why the technique is similar! I agree - GOO is most helpful for head voice, which I think is what Cherie was going for here, a light chorus in a head voice/head mix - there still can be some mix in a GOO if you are incorporating some dopey quality in it!
