Hey everyone, come along with me on my solo trip to Los Angeles, California! As a Black woman, I embarked on this journey and had some amazing adventures. I explored Manhattan Beach, of course ate In-N-Out Burger, indulged in all the shopping LA has to offer (from The Grove to Century City and Beverly Center), and, of course, got a glimpse of the iconic Hollywood sign. Also I dined at The Nice Guy, Catch LA, and Joey (my favs). Check out the timestamps below to dive into my experiences!

Loved how you captured the essence of the city. You covered everything very clearly. I am local to LA and visited almost all areas. I love to enjoy float and sound therapy at the weekend. For this I used to go to Quantum Clinic - it's like the perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation amidst the LA hustle. Can't wait to see you there for your next video 🙂
I went through a breakup too and headed to Hawaii recently to clear my head. Damn. Crazy. Glad you enjoyed yourself!!! I'll be in LA ( San Diego and Tijuana) in two weeks.

Haha literally on the streets. Don’t park in the parking lot but on the roads before the lot

@@THESBWAY_ no but u know what does lol, our phones and the internet. I go to london alone and using data for google maps and googling whatever is a necessity but there are many spots where there is no service and u just gota keep walking until u get some. Or find a shop w WiFi. Plus my phone dies randomly when it over heats in the past (its new). I hate that i cant rely on this expensive af phone or myself haha
Only watching because I’m traveling solo to LA next month and I’m so scareddddddds I’m not going to get a rental though how far is your hotel from the airport? And how was the air port experience at LAX
Same I’m traveling 1st time solo sept! I did a rental at enterprise my 1st trip which was quick and smooth (august) & we stayed at Hyatt by lax. It was convenient with a rental but we wanted to drink so we did lyft half the time & our hotel parking was 60/night. The next year we did a hotel in Hollywood no rental & we did a hotel (hotel June)near lax 2nd half of trip quicker to beach. If you use a driver lyft is cheaper most times for sure. Also can look into zip car for hourly rental 😊 Good luck on your solo trip!
Don't be scared! I'm a local, just be smart like any other big city, don't walk alone really late at night, learn what are the safe neighborhoods and learn a bit of Spanish just in case, it's a vibe everywhere dress relaxed for sunny weather like tanktops and shorts and don't wear anything flashy like a Rolex or red bottoms, also don't be afraid to visit more local places where there are no tourists, like Santee alley close to south park which is kinda like a black market with good quality clothes for low prices,
I would recommend a rental tbh or having someone with a car because Ubers and Llufts can be expensive. My hotel was 7 minutes away

Hyatt place was cool. Near the airport and pretty safe.
