Inspired by the ancient Chang'an tune "Wind Through Pines," this piece echoes traditional guqin playing styles, evocatively depicting a moonlit, windswept pine forest at night. It conveys the composer's deep melancholy and profound sentiments through its hauntingly beautiful soundscape.
"After the prolonged rains following Chongyang Festival, before the brisk chill of Minor Snow." We embrace the arrival of winter's second solar term, Minor Snow. This period, as the name implies, signals the beginning and intensity of snowfall. As described in the ancient text, Manual of Aromatic Plants, Minor Snow ushers in colder air and initial snow, though the earth remains not too chilled and the snow, relatively light. Following the steps of Minor Snow, we find ourselves slowly enveloped in a winter clad in silvery serenity. In this early cold of the natural world, we host an engaging sharing session, initiating a sense of ritual for the winter days, and inviting you to join us in celebrating this beautiful Minor Snow season.
