Good highlights- had all the wickets/dismissals which is key. Boundaries is 2nd priority. Overall much better video than their previous highlight packages where a team was 50-1 and next second, they were 70-4.
These highlights are amazing (and not in a good way) Khawaja I’m assuming was stumped? You show the initial attempt & the umpire refer it to the 3rd umpire & then nothing!! We don’t see anything that the 3rd umpire does, no replays, just that Head is then in batting with Green!! Phillips on hattrick (the commentator proclaims), Phillips then goes on to take 3 wickets with his next 3 balls according to these highlights so he’s taken 5 in 5😮 the greatest achievement ever?? Nope, there were runs & overs in between his last 3 wickets of the 5 but you’d never know it by these ‘highlights’!! It’s baffling that anyone could consider these ‘highlights’ to be adequate!! Are cricket NZ actually satisfied with what they are putting out?
Plaudits Phillips for a wonderful all-round performance: His stats will fluctuate, but injuries not withstanding he could be the next Stokes, Jadeja or Green. He has made the NZ effort way more respectable and still needs to bat in this innings: He and Ravindra could turn heads, but NZ need improving, as Lyon has been great and I do hope Green gets a bowl on this pitch; Henry was great, but O'Rourke needs to work on his control, also by their high standards Southee & Williamson were a no-show.

It is unacceptable that we are getting 6m highlights in one of the most (for us Kiwi's) anticipated test matches in years (we love playing the Aussies!), and this is the highlight packages we get. Looking at my sidebar of recommended videos, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has a 24m day 3 highlights of their one off test vs Ireland, which is what we should expect by NZC! Nice work Afghanistan Cricket Board!
People who say the highlights ain't good do not see in the title that it is short highlights not regular highlights that we see from other Cricket boards on their respective channels.
Incorrect. It’s still possible to have decent, short form highlights without regularly missing out large swathes of play / important moments in the game as is the case with most of this series highlight videos.
But they don’t show any extended or even normal highlights!! The ‘short’ highlights miss so much out like any detail of Khawaja’s stumping, from these ‘highlights’ it’s not even clear if he was given out or still in until Head is then batting, really shouldn’t be hard to show the confirmation of the dismissal.

These highlights package is doing injustice for the incredible cricket played by the both the teams today especially nz
Lyon came as night watchman, scored 41 out of 53 when gone and remained top scorer ..... unbelievable
