Welcome to the love of puzzles. My personal belief is that you cannot have too many puzzle (or too many puzzle videos). Thanks for another great video! I am looking forward to seeing you complete all these puzzles.
You aren't the first person to buy more puzzles than they really need. I've currently got 56 puzzles waiting to be done and the number never really reduces by much as I buy more. If you are keen to enter competitions then you obviously need to do images that are not your favourite type. Speed puzzling is not something that is important to me so I can choose images that I will enjoy. So glad you finally got your hands on the New York puzzle. Look forward to seeing how you get on with the jigsaws you showed.
Good Luck with all of those.... I was in Puzzles Canada in Georgetown, Ont. this past Thursday and bought the "New York Postcard" for myself... I hope to do a video of me attempting a speed run of it too...👍👍
@@JigsawJohnie You're not! I think that's an issue that comes with most hobbies. Same with book lovers, or stationary addicts. Always too much and never enough time to do it all!!
The buying is a separate hobby. We always say we are not gonna buy, but do it anyway. And I also have that problem, I definitely slowed down the buying so I can do my to-do pile first
I have about 10-12 puzzles I have not done yet. I'm on a no buy for August, so far so good! I will be watching this year's Worlds livestream and I'm sure I'll want some of the puzzles they'll use. Try holding off buying more until after Worlds. That'll give you some time to do the puzzles you have. Good Luck!
Great video Johnie, I absolutely love the “Mad Props” bluebird puzzle, but it’s sold out so I haven’t been able to get one yet. Hope you like the cobble hill puzzle, they are random cut which I am not a big fan of, but the quality and art work are top notch. I know just how hard it is not to buy new puzzles when you see something you like. I have 40 some puzzles in my to do pile so if you think you have a problem then I should probably be committed 🤣
Congratulations on finding the unicorn! Rest assured you are not alone in this particular addiction! I really like the Postcard puzzles but my priority is getting through the Circle of Colors series first.
Lol. Don't you know puzzles multiply at night..enjoy your obsession......it's good clean fun.....if you didn't do puzzles we would of never met you.and we are glad we did..see ya soon
If you need an intervention I need one doubly so. I have about 70 puzzles that I have not done. However I don’t buy them all. I belong to a puzzle swap group and sometimes we have a big swap. Last time I went to the swap with 17 puzzles and came back with 18 as a bought an extra one for $10. I also leave some of my puzzle of lower quality at a street library and sometimes pick up puzzles from there.
We all have a problem, i spend time browsing and searching for puzzles i want more :D, then i find excuses to buy or postpone buying. All i can wish for is that puzzle boxes would have less empty space in them and smaller size. It's ridiculous the space all of them take in my flat. I have 34 pcs of 500 - if the standart size is reasonable, i judge the circle of colours box. Old Ravensburger 1000 pcs boxes - like why so big, the same goes to Schmidt 1000pcs
True. Collecting puzzle requires more space than many other collections. Maybe I'll need to get rid of some stuff and focus a little more on specific sets. I don't know for now! Need more space still haha
Collecting puzzles and doing puzzles are two separate hobbies…lol. I have 309 in my collection of which I’ve done maybe 25. But I keep buying what I like.
on your birthday , Christmas, national jigsaw puzzle day. Other reasons to buy puzzles. I buy puzzles for my birthday. 6 months before my birthday until my birthday. You don't have a problem. More puzzle hauls
Enjoy your puzzling, please don't burn yourself out trying to do do so many puzzles in one week. Nice to set goals but give yourself some grace if you don't make it. After all this supposed to be a fun enjoyable hobby!! I have probably close to 500 puzzles in my puzzle closet. The rule is all the puzzles have to fit in there. Once that closet is full I thin them out. I have probably given away at least a 1000 puzzles over the years. Advice to you is as long as you are not incurring credit debt, skipping paying bills, neglecting your health or family buy as many puzzles as you want.😮
Hi. I know this comment was for Johnie, but I wanted to take advantage of your wise words because I set a huge goal for myself on my channel that I wasn’t able to meet. I got really sick and I feel bad for failing in my goals.
@@TheBibliophilePuzzler I subscribe to your channel as well. I am currently enjoying your Instagram cat/dog puzzles challenge as a large percentage of my puzzles have cats in them. Glad most of yours are cats! I have the Elmer and Loretta one... Will still watch if you do or don't get them all done by your goal. Be nice to yourself!
So glad you're honest about the puzzles you don't necessarily like! I feel like most puzzle channels wouldn't do that 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!
Oh, yay 🎉 for the Aloha puzzle! I would probably be in a good mood the whole time putting it together. It just looks so happy because of the colors 🩷!
Can't wait to do that one :)

On my way haha next video should have a bunch
If you have a problem, MANY, many of us do as well, lol. Congrats on finding your unicorn.
Haha I can't be the only one :) Thanks for the comment!
Love that Cobble Hill puzzle! Cobble Hill is my favorite brand so far.

Very cool! Great Puzzle, I order from them all the time!!
I think it's great that you have a rule about buying puzzles and doing puzzles 👍🏻. We definitely all need to work on out "To Do" pile!!!
So true! Reading all the comments I realize I'm not alone haha
@@JigsawJohnie You're not! I think that's an issue that comes with most hobbies. Same with book lovers, or stationary addicts. Always too much and never enough time to do it all!!
Grats on getting the NY puzzle. Love following your journey! I think your rule is good so you can keep your place from being cluttered.
That's another reason yes. It's just gonna pile up and never gonna end haha
The buying is a separate hobby. We always say we are not gonna buy, but do it anyway.

Reading all the comments made me realize that. We're all in the same boat 😂

Good tip!! I was talking about it today haha can't wait to see this year live for the first time!! Thanks for the comment!
Ahhh, cannot wait to see you doing Jazzy. I love it so much, as you know.
Ohh yeah I know haha! Next Sunday i should be able to post my impressions!
Trop beaux ces nouveaux!! Cobble hill aloha et bluebird, j'adore ❤.. je mets ça dans ma liste !
An intervention? A puzzle intervention ? Sounds like we need more puzzles for that.
LOL the only cure!
It's easy to get addicted! 😆 That MAGNOLIA! Wow! Cobble Hill: Great quality.
I only hear good things about the brand
My favorite was the Cobble Hill image. Good luck with improving your time. I enjoy your videos. Thank you ❤
Thank you so much! Video soon :)

WOW that's a few comments I read now about huge piles of to do puzzles. I don't know If I could. maybe it's just gonna happen to me too haha

I love the circle of colors!!!! Collecting is fun and it's a beautiful series! I don't know if I'll go for all of them but I have 8 so far!

Ohh they multiply?? Ohh now I understand! Thank you so much 😂😂
Welcome to my world. I started my obsession with the Life puzzle (24,000 piece). I now have a couple hundred puzzles in my collection
Wow that's a lot of boxes haha
That bluebird puzzle 🥰 I haven’t tried that brand. So glad you found the puzzle you were after 🧩
Thank you 🤗 I never tried Bluebird but I heard good things

I'm about to do that, will give some puzzles to the local elementary school and the library!

Thanks for sharing!! I understand collecting is a separate hobby now. Just like collecting toys but not playing with them, leaving them unopened.
on your birthday , Christmas, national jigsaw puzzle day. Other reasons to buy puzzles. I buy puzzles for my birthday. 6 months before my birthday until my birthday. You don't have a problem. More puzzle hauls
I don't have a problem! Noted!
I have way too many puzzles, too. I just don't have space for them anymore. My goal is no more puzzle purchases in 2024.
Almost September haha you got this!!
