I love Celeste. On my skin it develops into a deep creamy almost salted caramel scent. So interesting how everyone had a different experience with fragrances
@@thatsmellsdivine 😂😂 . Actually I’ve layered it with Bianco latte and oh my god. It smells like vanilla caramel salted marshmallow. It’s almost bitter but not overly.
I love violet perfumes, but they're usually not long-lasting. I heard that Giardini di Toscana perfumes are long-lasting, so I was really looking forward to my Celeste sample arriving. When I finally put my nose on it with anticipation, I GAGGED! I could not believe it. It smelled strongly of synthetic plastic or gasoline. Disappointment was an understatement! 😭 After a while, I caught very light whiffs of an almondy smell, but the synthetic smell was there the whole time. I got absolutely no violet notes that I was so looking forward to smelling. Normally when I smell a perfume I don't like, I can still appreciate the craftsmanship. Celeste is the first perfume that physically made me gag and made me want to take a shower 😥
Oh my gosh this video has been in my watch later playlist for weeks! When you commented on my video today it dawned on me and I had to come watch it tonight! I have held off on getting a sample of Celeste because that's exactly what I was worried about.. that sweet juvenile smell! 😱😭 Do you still feel the same way about it by now? I have tried putting my dabbers into sprayers but usually it only gives me like 8-10 sprays whereas a dabber I can use a hundred times! But usually I'm just using a sample to compare to other scents, not necessarily to get a full wear experience for the purpose of buying. 😊😊
Hiii!! I literally just finished watching your last video lol! I haven't pulled Celeste out again but the temps are warming up a bit, so I may give it a proper test and see if I feel the same way!
I recently fell in love with the new Issey Miyake Solar violet its a beautiful sweet candied violet. Since discovering that it has lead me to be curious about Celeste

I’m guessing you will love Celeste!
I agree with you 100%, I was hoping for an amazing scent, unfortunatelly this one is pretty weird, not in a good way.
It's such a polarizing one!
I thought it was horrible !
I like it!!!
