Agreed. This book is phenomenal and complex--the best in the series. It has so much DEPTH, HEART, TRAUMA, COMEDY+RAPPORT, TENSION (I kept thinking "Jesus, just F already!") and an actual EMOTIONAL CONNECTION between the two characters. It's become a comfort read that I keep going back to. I felt flushed reading it.
BTW it's pretty clear that Christian killed Antonio as Gianna's b-day gift on her 23rd b-day. At the end of the book he tells Sasha that he stole someone else's fate (Antonio's).
