could you make a series on proofs? I'm teaching myself math and i just finished analysis 1 and im finishing linear algebra, i understand proofs in the books but i want to be able to write some good ones on my own.

xRiccardo - i plan on finishing a series on proofs eventually! Thanks for the positive feedback!

Dude I love you so much! I was taking Real Analysis, without having taken any proof class [I am an Economics student], and I am struggling so so much in it. And then I found this, and everything is making sense. I hope that by the time I finish your proof series, I will actually be able to solve a question for Real Analysis. In any case, learning a lot!

@BrainGainzOfficial Thank you for this video and series; I'm an older student getting back into math who never had experience in proof writing, so I very much appreciate your style and flow of presenting this subject.

Really enjoying your videos! I have a question about example number three. I set both x and y to be 2k+1, then after multiplying and factorising i was left with 4k(k+1)+1. 4k would always be even then multiplying an even by an even or an odd (k+1) would always be an even. Finally adding one would give an odd. Is my method also a correct way to go about this? Thanks!

what if he made two versions of the videos: 1) one in the way he wants, and 2) one in a way that presents the proof with no commentary?
Perhaps it's because I'm new to Mathematical proof writing, but I actually appreciated his effort to make this subject approachable, comprehensible, and enjoyable. If I wanted proof writing speed-runs, I'd watch videos by other math TH-camrs, like Math Sorcerer or Wrath of Math.
