The only thing is, I’m currently doing this tutorial and I cannot get my faux locs to be tight to save my life. It feels tight while I’m doing it but it’s not once I’m done. Any advice?

I_Am_Corea thank you! I actually did end up spraying my whole head with hair spray after for a little extra hold but the nail glue isn’t hard at all. You don’t even feel it on the hair once it dries. It doesn’t leave any residue either (I use about 2 drops)

Ds89rj NO NAME it took me about 10 hours or so. This wasn’t my first time doing this style but it was the first time I used the curly hair with the short length. No matter the style, they all take me about 10hrs because I just don’t know how to move quickly when doing my hair 😩

You can untwist the top, cut it then slide it down....that way you don’t have to worry about cutting the ends and cutting your hair.

So as your twisting the the hair you need to ensure that the beginning is tight and keep it in place as you wrap the hair around.
