😮 11 inches in less than 3 seconds. Man, that's insane!! I have the Ion Gen 1 since 2021. I like it, but now I'm tempted to get this one. Great review.
Holy smokes. That was crazy. I've honestly been debating about getting rid of my 40v strikemaster and getting the ion alpha since last year. Seeing that drill i think just made my mind up. I already liked how light they are. That drill speed is next level.
@BendItFishing they tried every way not to warranty me.. every excuse in the book. They suck very badly. Trying to tell me it's the blades when, in fact, it was the battery... I have a $900 anchor ⚓️ now...
@BendItFishing the second season, I used it. It got a little wet in my sled. After that, the battery wouldn't hold a charge. ION said it was because it had dull blades, lol... I took it out yesterday just to see, and sure enough, after fully charging the battery, by the time I got out and tried it, the battery was dead.. doesn't sound like blades to me,but ION had their excuses all lined up... I argued to no avail.. So,they are not recommended to trust. Likely, I brought my hand auger, which never gives me problems. So now, for 2 years now, I've been telling everyone on TH-cam about this ... If I had money, I would take ION to court 💯

Have you tried another battery? They are $199 which isn't cheap I know
