- Ahhhhh it’s finally here, Life Goes On and the most BTS of albums, BE.
We’re super excited to finally get to listen to the new BTS album and watch the Life Goes On MV, but also sad that we’ve now listened to it all. T_T
This album seriously speaks to the time we’re in and Life Goes On perfectly describes the feeling of living in 2020. BTS have somehow made the song melancholy but hopeful at the same time.
Shoutout to Jungkook for directing parts of the Life Goes On MV, it feels so sentimental. We’ll have to watch it a few times to catch all the little elements he added in.

Yes totally agree with the album flow. As usual, BTS albums are so well put and tell a story instead of just filling an album with songs and various sound. Moreover, they are all great ones!
"Life Goes On" is exactly like this, warm and with feelings of melancholy but still hopeful. And even if it is a reflection of the pandemic situation it can be a timeless song and fit for any difficult times in someone's life, like for "Spring Day". And this year we were blessed with BTS content because we got "ON" (but also "Black Swan" and Suga's trailer "Shadow" and AGUST D), "Dynamite", the concert and "Life Goes On" (we went full circle, life goes on and ON. 🤣)
Stacy is such a great ARMY knowing already everything! Yes JK was the director and his Golden Closet Film style is completely fitting for this particular song vibe. And they probably recorded during the concert with all the ARMY bombs around. And many ARMY were also tearing because of Jin (and its probable future enlistment).
Looking forward to your album review (still waiting for my album to arrive 😥).
By the way, Dreamcatcher released their Japanese song "No More". And as you did not yet have reacted to their Japanese tracks, you should prepare yourself (I guess for the nightmare storyline we should soon get your reaction to "Breaking Out" and their 2nd Japanese release was "Endless Night"). Life goes on is such a grower, that chorus!! 😍 A siblings for Spring day for sure. Excited to see if it resonates with the Korean Gp like spring day has. It’s reign on the charts has been ridiculous. Also dynamite too, it won a music show this week again. Dynamite vs life goes on!
Rewatching the MV, totally see the sentimentality around Jin being highlighted at the end. 😭😭
