I swear, this love triangle (rectangle?) thats going on between yoong-jae, so-e, hanbin, and seo-eun is wild and I feel like it's not gonna get better lol these people are going to give me gray hairs don't forget to subscribe 😊
this was sooo fun to watch! i knew i wasn't the only one angry at yoongjae for leading soe on but continuously telling her he can't pursue her :/ it's so frustrating to this day to watch any scenes with those four in it. even through all this soe is still my fav in singles inferno like idk how they are hating on her out there!!! also after you guys finish reacting to this y'all should watch the reunion they have going on after this season it really puts everything together and clears up who still stays together even after the show is over😚love y'all!
I wont say much to avoid spoilers for taina, but there's a video (in 2 parts) that nadine and dex did together on nadine's channel that I think you guys would enjoy watching after the season is over. the title is in korean but searching "dex and nadine Q&A" will bring it right up.
So E was strong af because I would've long given up on Young Jae. I feel like she narrowed her feelings down to one person too soon cause had she given other guys a chance, she'd have suffered less://
I will forever be a hater of people that ahte on So-e. She's legit so mature, so understanding. people call her annoying for always following Yoong-jae? But she really doesn't. I mean she does yes but she's following her heart. But in this scene she almost rejected herself right? Like THIS GUY SUCKS AT REJECTING, HE KEPT LEADING HER ON HOW CAN PEOPLE BLAME HER AND NOT HIM. She is more mature than most people would take that convo. He didn't say a word, she did it for him. As if he's a baby. Sorry. I said what i said. Justice for my girl So-e Oh yeah also idk why the subtitles said Se jun in that scene. She def said Seo-eun
Listen, she knows he’s not interested yet she keeps going after him hoping he’ll change his mind. At some point you have to take some accountability and accept that someone doesn’t like you. He didn’t lead her on, he just felt uncomfortable rejecting her. I don’t like how people are making her feelings his responsibility.
@@megan-wl1ym I think this is language barrier thing. Koreans rarely say those things directly, especially not on camera as it would be embarrassing for the other party. It’s called noonchi if you understand that then you’ll understand that he was pretty clear on multiple occasions that he wasn’t interested. Her logic was that since she didn’t have anyone else she was interested in she was going to continue to go for what she wanted. Which is fine, but who she wanted didn’t want her back and she knew that early on. So her hurt feelings are again, not his responsibility.
Just so y'all know in regards to when and how Dongwoo really put off Seulgi was that he spoke down to her. In the Korean language, even if they agree to speak informally, it doesn't mean to be intimately or extremely casual. He kept referring to her kinda like you would a child, which is why she said that he spoke to her like she was young. Dongwoo kept talking to her in a way that creates a barrier to get close to one another and can be interpreted as rude. It's like asking a kid(let's use Kim as an example) How did Kim feel? What does Kim think? Can Kim explain themselves better? Did Kim sleep good last night? It's because he kept doing that, that she probably thought he looked down at her and thought of her as a pretty but immature kid who doesn't know about how the world works. On top of that there was the obvious pushing too hard as he wanted a direct answer but she's the type to speak in the typical Korean subtle way and so if it made people from other cultures who don't essentially have the speaking society rules that Koreans have, imagine how it felt to her. Obviously it differs from person to person but in general in Korea it's considered rude to be too straightforward so they talk in a round about way. A major communication style is that they basically beat around the bush and explain things in a subtle way what they mean and the other person is expected to read between the lines, aka if someone wants to speak to another contestant and they reply oh i don't feel well or I'm suddenly tired. It doesn't mean come find me at a different time but rather I'm just not interested in talking to you so take the hint. Sorry for the long note but I had a hard time understanding myself when I started watching some Korean dating shows. Hope I explained that clearly, if anyone wants to elaborate on my comment then by all means 🙏 Love your reactions can't wait for the rest! 41:26
i completely agree that he kept pushing way too hard asking questions that she was clearly saying she didn't want to answer. I didn't know about the talking down part tho. I can distinguish between formal and informal in korean but that's about it so thanks! and i'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for explaining! This is my second time watching this season and it’s the first time someone explained it in a way that made sense. Appreciate you!
@@rubendumay3423 it really is great and of course dex being dex he is the highlight of the show but its really unique like i said physical survival mixed with intellectual stuff i got other shows with dex but i really want to see you react to this one best believe i will be here for every episode the second it drops
SeoJun is my fav person on this show. And his relationship with Dexter is just the cutest bromance ever. Hold on lemme find their bromance link th-cam.com/users/shortsCviyNhygJ00?si=yHOpPfV7ZzyP8sIt Dexter is such a baby girl for him🤣
Honestly what hooked me in was the commentators. I remember thinking ive never seen a show like this before where its like they have their own cast of youtube reactors reacting to everything in real time along with us. I was like this is so genius! 🤣 I also think the people were the best in the first season 🙂.
I never understood the love for Jong-woo. That guy acted like such a stalker that I never liked him (my wife agreed as well). Okay, that's not true. I was okay with him for the first day or two until he started to get all stalkery. I want to compare him unfavourably to someone on SI1, but you haven't seen it yet, so I won't. Either way, people seem to make him out as some sort of tragic hero when I only saw a creepy stalker and simp. I didn't know if it was a cultural thing (maybe Koreans are into that because of the k-dramas?) or if careful editing made him seem better, but I never got it. So-e, on the other hand, was someone I fully got behind, despite her creepy behaviour in the first episode. She was definitely a tragic hero who endured a fair bit and I could not help but feel sorry for her. I hated how Yoong-jae kept stringing her along. I tried to keep my comment spoiler free, but now I absolutely cannot wait to see your reaction to the next episode.

dongwoo is forcing seulki too much, he keep asking “why? why? why?” instead of trying to understand and accept her answer as it is.
If I wasn’t even asked out by episode 5, I’d just clock out and enjoy my beautiful inferno.
id turn it into an island vacation

Seo-jun is a whole mood! love him
At this point dong Wu just wants to go home lol
lol and i don't blame. seul-ki really drew the line but also good for her
Omg, i’m so excited to see your reaction! 💗
Hope you enjoyed it!

oh yeah for sure for sure. she really zeroed in on him and didn't let her self get to know anyone else (at least so far)

i agree. the fact that so-e had to friend zone herself is insane. dude that not contribute to that resolution at all at all

You’ve gottttt to check out bloody game after this dex is awesome in it especially season 2
why was season 2 of this show so cute
it definitely has a cuter vibe than season 3

thank you!! and yeahif someone hadn't told me that so-e got a lot of when this came in beforehand I would have thought she was a fan fav
Very perceptive pickup. In both instances (51:45 and 52:07), the translator screwed up. So-e was referring to Seo-eun both times, not Se-jun.
yeah it always takes me a while to get their names but once I do i'm solid (97% of the time) but they really had me confused there for a sec
Yoong Jae was a coward.
he really was. can't believe he made so-e friendzone herself
