Good old times. Finland in the late 90's and early 2000's was a perfect place to be. The Soviet Union had just fallen, business was booming, Finnish children peaked in the PISA scores meaning we had high hopes for the future, we had amazing young metal bands such as Children of Bodom, Nightwish and Sonata Arctica with hopes of multiple more amazing bands to follow. I don't know what went wrong after that. Maybe nothing and I'm just blinded by nostalgia.
Alexi wasn't even 19 when their debut album was released. Talented man. RIP
