Before God flooded the earth, there where "Nephilim" , "fallen angels" AND giant trees. In NY my backyard borders a small lake. I was clearing reeds by the shore a while back. I'd grab the reed with one hand and cut at the base. I was surprised - I grabbed a 'reed' and it popped out of the dirt. That 'reed' turned out to be a 40 caliber muzzle loading rifle stuck in the dirt muzzle down. There was no stock and everything was rusted to the point that nothing functioned on it.

NC is home. Mom and dad lived in Wooster, Massachusetts, and I flew once and drove once to visit. Most of the east coast is like NC's country. I care not for treeless, hot, dry rocky country. So, I'm glad I got to share your trip with you, these videos have been great. Thanks again, and I too will be glad when you are home safe. Glad you did this now because hell is coming to America. ❤

“Indeed Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon, With fine branches that shaded the forest, And of high stature; And its top was among the thick boughs. The waters made it grow; Underground waters gave it height, With their rivers running around the place where it was planted, And sent out rivulets to all the trees of the field. ‘Therefore its height was exalted above all the trees of the field; Its boughs were multiplied, And its branches became long because of the abundance of water, As it sent them out. All the birds of the heavens made their nests in its boughs; Under its branches all the beasts of the field brought forth their young; And in its shadow all great nations made their home. ‘Thus it was beautiful in greatness and in the length of its branches, Because its roots reached to abundant waters. The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it; The fir trees were not like its boughs, And the chestnut trees were not like its branches; No tree in the garden of God was like it in beauty. I made it beautiful with a multitude of branches, So that all the trees of Eden envied it, That were in the garden of God.’ “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have increased in height, and it set its top among the thick boughs, and its heart was lifted up in its height, And aliens, the most terrible of the nations, have cut it down and left it; its branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys; its boughs lie broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the peoples of the earth have gone from under its shadow and left it. ‘So that no trees by the waters may ever again exalt themselves for their height, nor set their tops among the thick boughs, that no tree which drinks water may ever be high enough to reach up to them. ‘For they have all been delivered to death, To the depths of the earth, Among the children of men who go down to the Pit.’”

As a kid we heard of Devils Post Tower. Names change or rumor changed it... The tall sections are all crystals - and Ranchers used some for fence and housing. Tough material. Volcano neck that cooled slowly.

I think that the height of the stump is where the water level after flood was, and trees fell down, and after the flood, as it is written in the bible everything was much smaller, people also lived for a much shorter period of time because of the change of the atmosphere in the earth
      Just my theory 😉😆

We drove from Columbia Mo, to Mt. Rushmore, spent some time in the park around Mt. Rushmore, then drove north around Yellowstone.... Off in the distance we saw Devils tower... I said. "Look kids, it is Devils tower!!!" Kids agreed it looked cool, but we wanted to get on to Yellowstone. :-) This was just a few weeks ago, lots of similar and the same sites we visited along your path. Ended in Boise Idaho, took 23 hours to get home to Columbia again when we finished. Nothing like a nice long road trip!

It's the central shaft of an extinct volcano. There is one almost directly straight east of Devils Tower call Bear Butte, where they grow awesome grapes for wine between Belle Fourche and Sturgis in the rich volcanic soil. A little older and more weather since that's where it erupted the first time as the tectonic plate moving Eastward abducted under the Eastern United States plate, just west of where the Mississippi River flows, on that fault line. With the main Caldera being the Black Hills. Second eruption is Devil's Tower with the main Caldera, being that Basin between moorcroft and Sundance. Third Caldera Yellowstone Lake with the lava flow flowing West toward the Pacific ocean across Southern Idaho. Then while the tectonic plates slowed and stopped the Rockies were pushed up with the Tetons being the youngest upheaval. And the subduction started along the west coast of the United States. With the Pacific Plate moving Slightly North and East as indicated by the Hawaiian Islands. Just saying from a geologic standpoint.

Please excuse me if I ask a personal question. I was excited to see that you still drive when traveling and stay at motels the same as we do also. Is it difficult to find a restaurant or small town cafe for your meals while on the road or do you make up some meals while driving? I appreciate your help as this will help us in planning for future trips.
Your newest family member, Archie, has really grown, consider recording a video of Archie, Ruger and Piper’s reaction of seeing you both again when you get home.
