Critical Low Battery Warning! Drone Landing Automatically!

This is the start of Wild Coast Diaries a series of behind the scenes happenings, non-happenings, whatevers and whenevers. In this episode my DJI Air2s drone did not have enough battery power to return to home and had to make an emergency landing on the opposite bank of the Mtentu River. It kept some of its control on the way down and so I managed to land it on a footpath that I would hopefully find again. I was very lucky not to lose it in the lagoon. My heart was in my throat a lot that morning. I was thrilled to find the drone unharmed. Then I nearly lost my canoe, but that's another story.
