My wife had a very very aggressive case of MS with an extremely high disease burden. I am an oncology certified nurse so was completely comfortable with the idea of an auto transplant. Megan wasn’t really keen on the idea at first but slowly came around. She’s now 7 years post transplant in Russia and she has No Evidence of Disease Activity since that time. Except for a little lingering fatigue and the occasional headache she leads a completely normal life free from the burdens of MS. Dr Fredorenko and the staff are wonderful. It was the best thing we ever did. I can’t encourage you enough to go! Just do it!

I had HSCT in 2018 at Moscow, Russia. Thank you to Dr. Fedorenko and the wonderful team in that hospital. I have had two MRIs since then and no new lesions - MS was stopped. 😊
@@Jihadhasankoushik hello. I I’m doing alright; My muscles are weak, I have trouble walking, so I still use a walking cane. physical therapy is a must. I need to work on my endurance and keep my muscles alive! But my MS progression has been stopped! And that is so important, thanks to HSCT. 😃
@@OksanaWorking0243 did you had Primary progressive or was it RRMS ? Is your weakness increasing with time since HSCT or is it stopped and constant? Thx
@@AHSCT-RUSSIA So it's not true what people on forums say? They say after HSCT as you have a new immune system you have to redo all vaccines like polio, tetanus etc
good video and good hospital but it cost toooo much money. 55000 euro is a lot of money. It's a treatment a certain category of people. Hope they make it less than this amount.

We recommend to make cryopreservation before HSCT, but it is not obligatory. @@evaneoskowar8859 RRMS. The weakness is a constant. I was a 3.5-4 on the EDSS scale when I had the HSCT treatment. So exercise is a must.

My wife did the treatment in 2017, and we now have a boy that is 3 years old.
And yes - she does not have any MS anymore. Edss is 0.

An (IVF) In vitro ferilisation to get pregnant?
@@maryjs4878 no, he was made the normal way. But she did take out eggs and one of the Ovarys.
But we had no need for them.
