I'm really enjoying this series. I hope that at the end of each brand you summarize how many you're keeping, keeping to compare, and de-stashing. The numbers geek in me is curious.
After you swatch all your polishes will you be filming your comparisons of the similar colors? I would love to see which ones you decide to keep and which ones you decide to let go of!
Weird questions--I've been wondering since you started the series--do you talk as you film and swatch or do you swatch and then add the voiceover later? Do you sit down and do the whole ten at once, spread it out over the day, or spread it out over multiple days? How are your nails holding up? Do you do some kind of oil treatment after swatching? Enquiring minds (or maybe just mine) want to know.
shimmy2708 I film all 10 at once, and talk while I film. To do 10 swatches, it takes about an hour and a half since I also photograph while I'm swatching. The four nails I swatch on are actually in the best shape compared to my other 6. I think it's because they get 10 times more oil treatment, and I consciously make sure throughout the day to not pick (my nails tend to split/flake easily and I'm a bad habit nail picker :/) at those for nails!
shimmy2708 while I swatch, I put cuticle oil on the 4 nails I swatch on before I use polish remover. It helps keep my nails happy (or at least I think it does lol).
