Ayy, Deborah !
The University of York is historically a majority white university because it exists in a historically majority white country. Just like the University of Lagos, Nigeria is a historically black university. It is also a historically middle class university because, historically, undergraduate study was a predominantly middle class pursuit. Good grief.
@Tobi You can waste your time on this total bollocks if you like, I have better things to do.
@@ghgjftythnhcfghdty You're being stupid, no one is disputing that. That is understandable. There's the majority of Africa is black and the majority of Europe is white. But if a black person was to be in a place with mostly white people they would be treated differently. Same way if a white person was to be in a place with mostly black people they would be treated differently. She is just trying to talk about her experience being in a place where everyone was different, she isn't saying that the university shouldn't be mostly white that's stupid. So stop with the purposeful ignorant passive-aggressive BS like what she is saying is stupid. Cause you think you are being smart by missing her entire point but just look like a dense, dickhead with no comprehension skills that is choosing to nit-pick at things when you clearly have a racist tendency to someone speaking about what it's like be in a different race.
