3:01 Link Belt as in Link-Belt the crane manufacturer? I have some other questions So, starting in the 1996 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. How many seasons are you going to do in Trucks and Busch before moving up to Cup? As you move up the ranks, will you race part time in the lower series as well as signing a development driver? 4:49 Correction: That's Johnny Sauter's brother Jay, Johnny was in his last year of high school in 1996 and then once he graduated. He started racing in amateur series and then ASA. Raced for Richard Childress Racing in the Busch Series in 2001 and then full time in 2002, he didn't do any truck races until 2003 and the rest is history.
Me as a commentator: As they come across the line under caution, Ron Hornaday will win the race and Davion West will finish 35th in his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut here at Homestead. Davion West: Race is over Dave, horrible. Dave Rogers: Alright DW, we struggled, thanks for driving it. Uh, what just happened? I see you stopped there Davion West Are you serious?! My truck died, why did my truck die? It's blown up, it's (expletive) blown up! *Once Davion West got back to pit road, Jay Sauter and Kevin Grubb had some heated words to exchange with him*
