got the right vintage stick for that tune, bro. massive tone as always. cabin fever got me rolling the camera again as well. appreciate the effort and keep em coming.
Mr. Groove Master!!!!! Would you be so kind to cover NATHAN EASTON on George Duke & Phil Perry's FOREVER (Montreux 1992) It was live. Thank you in advance.
Your version of Promises Promises is very good but this song, it's not staccato enough. There needs to be more strike/mute with like a 16th/32th cut. It's off tempo all the way through just a bit. Wrong bass. Get that MusicMan out for this one. I have a Steinberger copy that has this same low quality and then a Zon fretless. Oh no, world of difference. Right there about 3:17 there's a syncopated return. 1/16th rest and then then the 16th runs. Much closer to John Taylor's ghost note style on Rio (album) than a slightly glissando/funk beat. The notes have to be enunciated in between. They stop. They do not tie.
was sad when the Police broke up..so talented...but was thrilled when Sting went solo... upscale class, gorgeous music... beautiful cover dear sir 💖
And he still makes great music 🎶
@@funkybasstrix glad to hear that! been a little out of touch in the 2000s 😅 i'll look him up to see what i've been missing... thanks!
Great vibe on this one. Cool bass, great feel, and that period tone!
Thanks for listening
