During 1947 partition mere daadi ki age was around 11 or 12 yr's and mere daddi ke chhachi ka ladka (age:-9 yr's ) found missing becoz daadi kii chachi koo khandhee par goli laggi jiski wajahsee unnkaa ladka khogaya after that for around two yr's uss ladkee koo bahut dundaa par milla now my daddi is around 85-86 and she still miss her cousin soo yaa that partition also took lives of many people and many were found missing 😪
indians and Pakistani are masoom and emotional log. we need leades on both sides who can selflessly work together and help us unite with India and Pakistan.

The Best Part I really liked which was The old man in Tyakshi village which is very very remote area, the man was wearing Mask and educated people don’t understand the facts about Covid. Second thing is you said “We dont share good relationship with our neighbours” but its the other way round brother, we had tried numerous times to maintain good relationships with them but “our neighbours don’t want to share good relationship with us”

The 3 room school building of Tyakshi village (which was earlier under Pok before 1971) was just completed by Pak for a Primary School, by then war broke out in Nov /Dec 1971 and this village along with 3 more villages were recaptured by India. The erstwhile J&K State started a Primary School in the same building in 1973. The first two teachers of the school appointed by Govt. of J&K were from the same village. The two teachers had studied upto class 10th from High Schools at village Siksa and Khapulu (under Pok) and is about 15/45 kms on the other side of LoC. The school at Tyakshi village was gradually upgraded upto 8th/10th /12th std. The school is now shifted to a new building along the road side.

Do visit, for a year or so the army has curtailed tourist flow to Thang. Unless you hv contacts at the Northern Command HQ, tyakshi is the last village on LOC u can visit. I have some pics of thang which I shall dig from my drive if ppl want to see . Jai hind !!!

Amazed to see this hidden gem village as it was not easily accessible before, would like to visit this place when i go to ladakh. Hope increase in tourism may help them to grow. Thanks shubham for showing last village in ladakh. By the way me too live near Indo-pak international border in rajasthan. Went to border many times.
