Cool this awesome plugin gets more attention at last. First Bitspeak, Satin, now this. You seem to have a great taste when it comes to plugin choice. I like the fact you're doing in depth videos for tool which are not too much represented on YT. Sonic charge makes killer plug-ins and they are working on updates for bigger GUI right now. So cool. Keep it up. Have a great day.
Bode shifters were very rare modules for Moog Modular a long time ago. Nowadays, you could have both a Matriarch and this plugin, or pair it with a Bode shifter Eurorack module.
great review! at 8:02 there is some Clockwork Orange-esque vibes and then you started playing Bach, which leads me to Wendy and I´m sure she used the Bode FS at the time
one of my favourite effects :) especially on boring crash cymbals. but as we can hear it also sounds great on a rhodes piano when used with the more subtly chorussy settings
Very interesting plugin, it's nice when you can get the delay to do so many things. I notice the Minibrute 2 sitting there. I'd love a melodic video of that, like the one you did for the Grandmother, since the two are pretty much comparable. Also a a follow up on that excellent video on Maths, where you show off its uses in music.
is there a guitar pedal that does this in an analog fashion? it seems like this is very similar to the OP-1 CWO effect which i have been trying to find in an analog guitar pedal format!
IIRC, Magnus Lidström built both EchoBode and CWO, CWO being the condensed iteration of EchoBode. There is currently nothing this like this in pedal format, unfortunately. I think it's possible to build in Empress Zoia, a modular based guitar pedal, and I'm working on it rn
you are a very good musician. sorry i don't keep up with your content. every time i watch your videos i feel like i'm watching someone who has a very broad experience and can channel it to make good art.
It would have been nice if they included all the functionality of the original Bode 1630 Frequency Shifter but they've taken it in a whole other direction.
I want this. I was wondering something about the installer (I've emailed SonicCharge regarding this but they haven't responded yet) - when you run the executable, are you given a choice as to where you want to install? I've run across the occasional installer that just decides for you and it's kind of a big deal. Anybody know?
Just got an old Lexicon LXP5 for cheap, it does exactly that....except I have a lot of fun using sysex and finding old .sys ressources on internet archive XD
You always play such beautiful melodies when messing with Plugins ♥
he really does tho! makes him a good reviewer/teacher
Nice to see Echobode getting some love. Enjoyed making presets for the factory bank on this. :)
Agreed, great to see some love and indeed it was great fun making some presets for Echobode. One of a kind delay plugin if you ask me..
It's really cool! Virtual Riot talked about it briefly in a video and I had to get it! It's rly cool for sound designing :)

Great video! The OP-1’s CWO effect is based on this one. It’s fantastic!
First Bitspeek, now Echobode, I can only hope that Permut8 is next in line!

Thumbs up for the squirrel scuttling by at 3:15
ReFractalus not the first time that little dude crosses that cable. My guess is that he commutes at this particular time.
Awesomeness in excess! :) Brilliant plugin and brilliant showcase!

Has been one of my favourite plugins for years. So fun to mess around with :-)

8:32 what piece is this? sounds like a bach fugue maybe?

The red panda raster does this.
@@MindfulProgramming incorrect. The Red Panda Tensor achieves nearly everything this vst does.
@@user-yf2lk5gi7q ah good to know! It seems I overlooked the Raster.

Great review . Thanks.
I need that same plugin as a foot pedal
Yes but what is that electric piano you've been using the past few videos ?

so cool
Dope, does anyone know about a delay plugin that corrupts the delayed signal over time (like delay + bitcrushing)
Not bitcrushing, but with Echoboy you can have the delays become progressively more saturated or distorted.
fl studio’s delay
D16 Sigmund or Sonic Charge Permut8

Niche!
8:31 thank me later
Woaw!
This company make a bunch of great analog sounding plugins. there delay unit they do is phonominal!
Its like a bruel & kjaer with a delay
i would love to see you playing a church organ with echobode on it in a huge church. i think people would have a funny face expression
