  • Coffee break on the deck. Wishing you well during these times of medical uncertainty.
Due to a request I thought I'd give additional data on the Moka Pot. Dimensions are as follows:
    Height: 5 1/2 inches or 13 1/2 cm,
Diameter of base: 3 inches or 7 1/2 cm
Width with handle protruding: 3 7/8 inches or 10 cm
Weight: 374 grams - no once measure on my scale.
Volume output of brew: 2 fluid ounces plus a bit.
The name on the pot is "JUVENTUS" and on the invoice it's listed as such, "Juventus 2 cup Blanca (White) Caff. available from De Lucas Specialty Foods, Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

That was a fine video Tedd. If you get a chance, it would be nice if you put the brand name and specs in the show notes so I could do more research on your nifty little coffee maker. Thanks a million.

I appreciate you not wanting to be wasteful. Although, here in the southern US we have a use for left over coffee. It makes a magnificent beef gravy/sauce base. That little pot that comes with the svea is all but useless eh? I lean towards the gsi pour over and the aeropress. I really need to make a few vids, I just don't know how well it will work out with the phone.

First off, my first and a few occasions I used my phone so it does work fine for many.
I just couldn't condem the SVEA pot without a trial, so it does pass as a desperation cup. This moka pot is mainly for at home use. Haven't tried the GSI pour over and my Aeropress doesn't work with my too large Kapilka mug. Need smaller someday.
Thanks for the comments and have a great day.

Hi Tedd. I see that we have the same taste when it comes to coffee brewing. What sets us apart is that I use Bialetti Moka Express instead.
What's better than a freshly brewed cup of coffee. No milk, black as hell ;-)
    Best regards from Sweden
