As such, it's a great technique for quickly creating animated objects or scenes. I would also recommend using the effect "refine soft matte" on the Mask, it makes the outlines smoother and especially helps when the subject was hard to mask ✌🏼

god bless you bro, i had to rotoscope some tiny shit but it blended too much with the background so it was all just a mess. I never even thought about using lum color to bring out the forefront. what a simple yet really effective way to fix such a problem. This video turned an hour-long rotobrush by hand for me into a 5 to 10-minute process. Thank you so much

when I go into layer panel to rotoscope it takes off lumetri contrast I put on the footage. I don't know how to fix this so I can use the high contrast to benefit my rotoscoped drawing

you need to precompose the layer with the lumetri on it before you rotoscope
