    After making headlines on China news, being featured in a major UK newspaper, and going viral on social media, our "Getting Arrested in China" video is finally here!
    Hopefully sharing our story helps others avoid the same situation. The systems in China are super advanced, and things can escalate quickly if you're not prepared, it was definitely an eye-opener!

      Considering the perpedual anti-China propaganda and internal meddling from the West, it is perfactly justifyiable that there are strict immigration regulations which contributes immensely in making China the safest country in the world with zero crimes
      Will be interesting if you try breaking Immigrations law in the USA and let us know on your future video.
      I doubt if they will allow you to video and take photos
      Anyway thank you for sharing your experince, as a very nuce family. Have a happy trip

    Transit visa is for one city/province in China. Every vlogger who does the transit visa always mentions that they aren’t allowed to travel all around China during the 6 days.

    • @FieldofVisions
      @FieldofVisions  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +16

      Actually, the rules for the 144-hour transit visa depend on the specific region where it’s issued. Some transit visas allow you to explore an entire province or multiple cities within a designated region, while others are more restricted. In our example, if you get the transit visa in Beijing, you can visit Beijing, Tianjin, and parts of Hebei province (which we now know). However, traveling to cities outside the permitted area, like Shanghai or Guangzhou, isn’t allowed. It’s always best to check the exact guidelines for the region you’re flying into! 🫶🏽

    Another thing to do (must do) if you're traveling inside China individually is you MUST be registered with the local police station in the province you are in. Hotels usually do that for you especially when you travel with group tour via tour agency but if you're traveling individually, better ask the hotel reception whether they will do that for you. This is to avoid wasting time at police station and in the end you'll still be free to travel but Time is important when you travel so you definitely do not want wasting your precious time. The purposes for this are:
    - in case anything (bad, could be natural disasters) happens, they knew you are there and they will conduct tracing and tracking to help you,
    - a system developed to deter crimes too, criminals are easier to trace and track back but no need to worry about it if you do not have ill intentions. No one dares to grab your phone from behind as they will be caught within a short period of time.
    - also a system to provide data on number of tourists and locals, data on local Chinese traveling between provinces, data which is crucial in organization and management for economic statistics and holidays. If less people are traveling, it could also signal lower domestic economy activities and quickly be address by its government with solutions.
    Ever wondered how fast you guys were traced and tracked by their police after reaching there? That's efficiency. Also one of the reasons why crimes are so low (extremely low) inside China because the system with millions of high res cameras protect their good citizens while criminals knew they can't run too far after committing a crime. Punishment is also harsh on criminals. To me China is one of the safest country (if not the safest) to visit right now that I canceled my EU trip few months ago to visit China (twice in 2024) and is planning another in a month or two.

    • @Walterkooy
      @Walterkooy วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not totally true. If you stay in a hotel, they will register you. If you don’t stay in a hotel, you have to register at the police station within 24 hours.
