Great I learned a lot. I was surprised at the age of the material that had been pushed up. As a young boy sixty years ago I used to chip garnets out of an "erratic" on the western end of the Village of Shoreham beach. There were numerous large boulders put there in the late 1920's early thirties as an erosion measure. They came on a barge and were excavated from the Empire State Building site in Manhattan.
