If you want to watch a great drama where the woman goes back & gets her 'revenge', I suggest 'Marry my Husband' it's a Korean show that is very well done & acted. Good storytelling & not in ancient times & it's satisfying to watch how she changes her life after she wakes up years earlier, (after her husband killed her she goes back in time).

Yap, this is the 3rd version (at the very least) of this plot. However, each version is not an exact copy of the others, so even if you know the main story (and how it will end), it is still a worth watch.
I'm only 20 mins in but I can tell the storytelling is different from previous versions, so I'm excited to see how the rest of the story will be developed and delivered this time. I'll comment more after I finish watching.
it was good but still prefer the 'wheelchair' one. That was a good one for me, less jumpy and good balance of comedy. e.g. the scene in the shop where the fake death husband gets arrested it was so funny. This one was 'too serious'. What about you? Or when he clears the prison for her and she jockingly says ooo i could live here then an arm sticks out
@@tarrysmile I agree, this one has the most serious takes out of the 3 versions. It's quite clear that this drama want to create an intense atmosphere & execute it well. If I haven't watched the other versions, the tensions that this drama offers might get me anxious alongside the main leads lmao.
For me, I also like the "wheelchair" version the most. Because that version has the least concubine-bullying-FL scenes, and ML was clear of never liking the concubine despite thinking she was his savior. But I like the sister-in-law from the funniest one, when the mother-in-law try to use her and she forgot the lines so she 'shoot themselves in the foot' instead 😂😂

我看過的另一版本，男主是誤以為珍妃是小時候的救命恩人，當時小女主臉上戴著絲巾，只露出一雙眼睛，男主記住眼睛，把珍妃誤認為女主，所以女主不是替身，女主一直都是男主心裡的正主。
这女主颜值高，演技不错，继续加油

But this is something that has happened around the world for millenia. It's not endemic to one country & is still happening today. And it's usually women who are forced into such marriages & they have to go live with their husband & his family, so she has little to no power in such a relationship, (unless she's really lucky & the family is nice).

I’m watching this again and Love it even more. This is the second version of this drama I’ve seen and actually loved them both equally. Liu Qing really makes this drama though. Worth the watch!

This is a great rebirth story. I have seen two slightly different versions before. I liked the cast in this and the storyline very much (more thorough and interesting). The chemistry and passion between the leads is great. In my opinion, this version is the best of the three (in terms of quality, acting, storyline, editing and chemistry) - and definitely well worth watching.
SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!!
FL is a widow who is mistreated and used by her in-laws to financially support the family. She is very sick and confined to a wheelchair. One day she finds out that her husband (2ML), isn't dead at all, but living a good life with a new wife - only waiting for FL to finally die so he can bring his new family into the mansion. FL has even raised the child they had, thinking it was a distant relative. The shock triggers her illness and she dies in the arms of the leader of the Imperial Guards (ML).
FL is then somehow reborn the morning after she was sent to ML's bed by her mother-in-law because of the imprisonment of her supposedly dead husband's brother. This time around, she decides to change tactics. Since she has discovered her pregnancy (again), it becomes pressing to cut off the relationship with ML and hide it in order to protect the child who was originally killed by her mother-in-law.
In the mansion, FL takes matters into her own hands and deals with the family who is sucking the life and money out of her. But she is time and time again entangled with ML who eventually finds out about the child. Things get complicated when a Royal Concubine that ML is connected to, appears at the scene.
Well, this has a very happy ending.

Wait... im 18 sec in & i think i know what drama it is. I think there was only 2 vers so far. So fl husband in militarily but pretends to die to end up with another woman, while his mother & sister hides it & takes advantage of fl. She literally serves them in her own house & then sells herswlf to ml to safe her husbands male family member ( forgot who that was). Ml was nasty to her & just tool her as bed partner. He had someone he loved (i think in 2nd vers he only took care of her because she saved him but he didnt had romantic feelings), which was some empress & had obsession with him too. And she abused fl too, while he ignored it. She was even pregnant & he just didn't cared. Fl died while learning her husband was with his new wife. Fl was pretty weak & doormat.
She reborn & decides she got second chance, so fck everyone. It's time to take care of herself. She knew what's coming with nature catastrophe from previous life & she plans to prepare for them & survive with her child.
Also because ml was an a-hole in previous life, she starts to avoid ml, which ironically intrigues him & he starts to liking her new attitude. To the point that, he protects her from her husband family & even from his green tea empress. (Once again the moral in these type of dramas, don't be doormat, don't sacrifice yourself, put yourself 1st, love yourself & others will love u too. Because the switch up with ml with fl in previous life & reborn are stark).
She tries to hide her pregnancy from ml but he get suspicious. But because of his care in this life about fl, he cares about the child too.
So, I'm wondering if this another version.
EDITED So it is that drama. It just have its own twists. Also that snippet, when fl learns her husband alive & with new wife & she's poisoned, she dies in ml hands. It seems he cared about fl in previous life unlike in other vers. That was even more confirmed later, when fl realized ml brought her to his mother altar in her previous life too, while in present saying he never brought anyone before & promised only bring when he finds his person.
Ml was protective of fl. And from his green tea too. The more drama progressed the more softy ml become towards fl.
It does have hea, though close to the the end new plot was added to this drama I didn't saw coming. And I'm kinda disappointed. I could had done without that plot.
Btw 48:58 ml was trying to get fl jealous by mentioning his green tea & I loved fl gave no reaction. Though u know it did hurt somehow because there was multiple hints where u can see fl did fallen at some point for ml. Though she was trying to protect herself in this life.
The ML is quite handsome. Seen him in other dramas too. His acting is fabulous. The FL is very pretty. Has a strong personality. ❤❤

Guys, there is abuse in this drama. The constant throttling is also abuse. But, it is less compared to a lot of the other c-dramas. I have seen the ML in a positive role in other dramas and decided to give this a try. Overall, it is okayish.

Well, I get the big idea of the story, but the editing makes it confusing. Is this reborn movie? Why when and where??
The actings of the leads is fine, but I don't understand everything in the beginning, what leads to all of the conflict. Pretty much the editing is to blame here. I'm not sure if it's a full movie, but if it is, I'm dissatisfied with the output.
