This is another amazing video. I have been worki g on this move now for the last month on my Downshft board and was still struggling but i have already stopped this video 2 times to get on the board and try it and can confirm that this works. So i want to say thank you ahead of time for how much you are going to make my game this year. Lol. Cheers✌️ keep these videos coming!!!
Brilliant video early release thin and fat shots have been my problem been working on that 3 before the video came out but glad to see I'm on the right track
Marcus, this is a drill I will incorporate into my practice immediately. Now I know that the pop (unweighting) comes a nanosecond before strike and will work on this happening more frequently. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Marcus really great video - can you clarify if you are pushing up with the right and the left foot to achieve the vertical movement ? You seem to indicate both feet but does that happen in the real swing or just this exercise ?
I like to put a half tennis ball under my left foot to feel like I drop into that and then push off it for the exercise but in my real swing I very much feel it more from my right foot. Play about with it and see what feels right for you 👍🏻
Not particularly useful comment but that unweighting makes me think of Laura Davies. She literally was off the ground on the tee with the driver in her younger days.
That’s very true and the same with some other lady golfers. I remember a world famous coach , at the time, putting this down to these players releasing too early. The same coach had the ball flight laws wrong as well. 😊
Marcus it’s fun to see the master having to work to find his sweet spot. Good job man
Great coach 💪💪
Cheers, hope it's helping 👍 HNY!

I am working Marcus's move on the Downshift board too. Struggling too but marked improvement on the speed and impact. Great videos
Excellent info, as always.

Love it. Very informative and can’t wait to put it to the test.
Awesome Marcus keep up the good work
Great video guys thanks

Great lesson this. Going to get my GRF out. It's been collecting dust I'm ashamed to say...

How do steps 1 - 4 fit with pushing the club away from the target with the trail hand? When does the trail hand push happen?

Can I buy the GRF board in the USA?
I believe the only place you can get it is in the UK on their website you would have to pay custom charges when it gets to the US if they deliver
None of this has ever been explained by a golf teacher….ever!
