Ian McShane was Lovejoy, but he also played a spy in the short lived action series Codenamed Diamondhead. He was well done in it. Were it not for MST3K, I never would have learned who he is.
for a second there i wondered whether it was a good idea for ian to reveal that mr wednesday is in fact the norse god odin and that the gods are all real and that there's gonna be a war but then i remembered that the show is called "american gods" and it's based on a book that came out 15 years ago and also i'm a moron
He was in Pillars of the Earth (mini-series) which is somewhat similar. He was a great evil character in that. I don't know if he was in Game of Thrones.
