Yes, metal is a coping mechanism for me. Bands such as Currents and invent animate are the ones dearest to my heart. They got me through addiction, alcoholism, homelessness, my mother getting cancer, all of it. Now I'm sober, sporting a job and a nice apartment, and am lifting weights again. If anyone is struggling right now, I can tell you that the grass is always greener if you put in the work. I rambled on but great reaction ladies! Love what you do. No, Doug this was the historic Fillmore in Detroit, Mi. It’s one of many old, iconic venues in the Motor City. Such a beautiful place. It’s a gorgeous place to be 98 years old. Wage War opened there for Ronnie Radke & FIR. Great show. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🖤🎶🤘🏻
Wage war isn’t something I’m super familiar with. They are very talented and I agree that the lyrics would allow someone going through a difficult time to feel less alone. I’ve definitely dealt with that many times in my life. Music has gotten me through so much in life. Actually, music is largely what brought Justin and I together. Definitely agree with checking on friends. I wish sometimes people from years past would check in with us. Lydia’s thankfully doing much better. I’m not doing the best still. But that’s ok. Baby is doing well so far. We’re getting a crazy storm system moving through. The storms were “horrible.” All we had were some strong, loud & windy thunder storms, but parts of the country were devastated. Tragic tornado in Little Rock & the roof collapsing on that venue during the metal show in Illinois…..just to name a couple. you two should react to "ren - hi ren". its a literal masterpiece right now. although ren really isint a rock star, the song hi ren has a bunch of genres mixed into it with a very intense story and amazing guitar skills. Also, if you do react to it. Just know that ren had been battling lymes disease for years before making the song. thats part of the reason why he made it.
