After that he never wore them - he said he gave them up "for the sake of North Germany", ie for German Unity. The only other Nazi of any significance that I have ever seen wearing Lederhosen (in pictures) is Heydrich. So Lederhosen are not an especially Nazi thing at all.

common, more affordable Lederhosen are made from Cow, right. not goat anymore these days.

Georg Mir A mot of goat hide is used still. The deer hide is much more expensive.
