What about retired senior persons....
If u apply just ₹ 120000 income per family, rule, even daily wage labour's in kodagu, shimoga, chikkamagalur, coffee / Areca plantation belt will not get bpl card. Bcoz as per government rule mnarega daily wage is ₹ 270, but in coffee & other plantation area, minimum daily wage is from ₹ 600 to 1500. So family income for 2 members working, will cross monthly income ₹ 30000. 90% has cars. I can say in sounth karnataka if u apply all bpl card norms, 90% of existing bpl cards will become apl cards, maybe in north & Kalyan karnataka it is 70% can be converted into apl. Bpl story itself bogus to make money & show ourself as poor people.

Honestly if u see then 99.99 will be ruled out because that u have to decide based on the monthly income of the person or family, many SC ST make income certificate with lower income to get all facility, in that case u have to see all incomes like salary or business, u will get lot of fakes
