I used to own an Martini Enfield .303 Cal. I noticed that the rifle closer to the camera has the muzzle band on the wrong side and also facing backwards .Cheers!

It says in the comments that this is the only time the Martini mechanism was used by the British Army. I was at the Duke of York’s Royal Military School in the 1970’s and we had some Lee Enfield No 8s chambered in .22 LR for use in the indoor range. Most had the standard Lee Enfield bolt mechanism but some had the Martini mechanism.
We also had No 4 Mk 1 for use on the outdoor range.

I fired .22 at the indoor range when my son was in the cadets, what a fantastic experience. Did rather well too, much more enjoyable then shotguns in my opinion.

That’s a cocking indicator on the side and not a safety

Paper patched bullets were to eliminate lead fouling in the barrel. The gun powder of the day is now referred to as black powder,. Todays smokeless powder is still gun powder. That's a cocking indicator on the side of the action, not a safety. There was no safety on those Martini Henrys. Need someone who knows weapons in these video's.

I actually own several of these weapons. Make my own brass, cast my own bullets and reload my own rounds. What I pointed out is factual. I don’t own an armchair.
