On this episode, I had a blast catching some early spawning slabs. The bait of choice was a black and chartreuse crappie magnet pair with a red 1/32 oz jig head. My rod of choice was my. KFred float popper. .
A good way to start off catching them is to use live bait “minnows” aka shiners. I would recommend you get a nice but not too expensive jig pole. KFred makes a great one. From there depending on if your fishing from a boat or bank try to find an area that has trees or bushes in the water and fish close to it. Right now being that it’s spawning season the closer to the bank the better.
out of curiosity, is there a reason you put the stem of the cork on the bottom instead of the top? I put mine at the top but sometimes it gets tangled.

Yea I do that when I’m using a slightly bigger cork with a lighter weight jig head to help the cork stand up from the extra weight of the pen.
Yeah buddy 😊
Gotta get em bruh! 💪🏾💯
Great video as always. You're not using livescope. Did Sealite get your transducer pole back in operation?
