I am 6 months sober and wanted to give this a try. Was very disappointed. Tasted like cough syrup.

It’s funny how two different reviewers can come to such different conclusions, The sober barkeep reviewed this stuff , he did have the re formulated version , he really liked it , although he does suggest it for mixed drinks .

I can kinda see why he really liked it for a sober whiskey option. Cause it’s pretty solid in that arena. But when comparing it to actually whiskey it lacks some things, just like every non alcoholic whiskey we’ve tried. To be fair it’s gonna be very difficult to make a non alcoholic whiskey that actually tastes like whiskey lol. But this is the best one we’ve tried so far. Thanks for watching!

So right at about 7:42, the face he made, that was what I immediately experienced. This stuff tasted AWFUL. Not sure what it is, licorice, ultra smoky, bitter, I felt like retching.

Not our favorite at all. The Lyre's was leaps and bounds ahead. Unfortunately this falls flat in alot of ways in an attempt to imitate bourbon.
