Jennings Osborne (who made a fortune in medical research) for many year had a massive light display on his fabulous Little Rock home. Unfortunately, it was so amazing that everyone in central Arkansas felt the need to drive by to see it. Basically, it shut down a major traffic artery through west Little Rock for weeks each year and annoyed the entire neighborhood. He finally moved his light display to other locations, including the Disney sight. (RIP Jennings.Osborne 2011).
@ReverendHigh Jennings Osborne .. he was a great man here in Arkansas that owned several Buisnesses around the country, did charity work, and of course loved the hollidays ... he passed away about 4 months ago and will be missed by many.
The Osborne Family is from Little Rock Arkansas and they used to have these light up every year at their home but it caused problems because of the traffic so the family donated their light to Disney World.
@thearbitre Yes they got to many complaints for having so many lights and neighbors complained over the traffic and the noise so they moved the display to flordia but its called the osborne family display. google osborne family display or look it up on wikipedia
@thearbitre I agree with you on that, I only have 48 channels running, that's 48 50-100' extension cords, at cheap rate of $12-15 a cord, that adds up. Then add the lights, the controllers, time to set up, electric bill is not that big of a concern when running LED lights.
This is the osborne's from little rock arkansas i do believe. they make the news every year in western arkansas and eastern oklahoma for best light show
@SurpriseBMX i was thinking of Ozzy too when i clicked on this. what are you talking about!? you must be a New ozzy fan, he once hosted the head bangers Balll in DEC-1988 & mentioned it many times. ozzy does celebrate christmas
@brizzo0614 I do this at my house and it's not the electric bill that is outrageous....it's the bill for all the lights and extension cords that would blow you away.
@Lazerrus Ozzy, wtf? This video doesn't even have anything to do with Ozzy. It's dedicated by Jennings Osborne to his daughter Allison Brianne Osborne aka "Little Breezy". Part of story: In 1986, Breezy made a very simple request of her parents for Christmas ... to decorate their home in lights. Jennings gladly complied, stringing 1000 lights around their home. "Each year after that, it got bigger and bigger," Osborne would later recall. You can find the rest of story at wiki.
