I love how your doing your Bible Studies. I only read devotionals to my kids and I just love diving into the scriptures. I’m so glad I was led to this channel. 🙌🏻 My favorite book about in depth Bible Studies is Women in the Word by Jen Wilkin.
I keep my Bible in a Bible cover too (at least that's what I've always called it), but mine isn't nearly as pretty as yours! :) BSF has groups where we are, too! It sounds like you have had such a good experience with that program. I have friends who have been involved with it for years, but I've never gone yet. I really like that book you have with the coloring page for you and for your little one! My toddler has really been into coloring lately, I think he would like us to color together sometimes. I love the idea of individual journals for the different books you’re studying and having them look all the same 😍 The Big & Little coloring devo is so sweet too! 💕 Also, the iBayam marker pens on Amazon are great, come in a bunch of lovely colors, and are inexpensive! I have some sharpie fine tips and they’re very similar. 👍

Have you read Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin? It is such a great resource for those who are intimidated by studying scripture outside of a devotional or book study. This was great! I wanted a new bible bag but could not find one that would work I found one of my large makeup bag never used it for makeup and it works for my bible bag I can fit my bible my notebook pens and highlighters it works
I have a quick question for you! What do you do when your finishing bf up your lessons for the day and your child starts acting up and they are clearly done. Do you force them to continue? Or do you stop and maybe do it again later or do you just wait until the next day? Idk if forcing my child is a good idea, and I just don’t want us falling “behind.” Just wondering what you would do.
It really depends on your little one's age, personality, etc. If I can tell it's just becoming too overwhelming for them, I stop and wait for the next day. It's ok if you get a little behind when they're young because you have so much time to catch up. But if it's just because they're being lazy then I stop, talk to them a little about the importance of diligence, and then push through slowly. When they complete it I make sure to give them lots of praise for staying the course. 😊 So it really just depends on your little one. I hope this helps! ❤
Pursuing Peace she is 6 and has some special needs so is already behind.. by any chance do you know how long a child that age should be able to pay attention for? I feel if she was in school she would have to focus for much longer as classes are from 9-3. We only do about 2hours maybe 2.5
