From what I've seen on Cannuck Belts & Dripbelts,you should dampen the leather,when doing any of the outlines.The same should be done when you press the plates,as long as it's not a bootleg, because bootlegs attach differently, from what I've seen & heard.
Yeah when doing the outline I should’ve dampened the back. Not the front though because then it wouldve been “squishy” and I could’ve damaged the leather. When I’m doing the texturing like the seashells around the boarder then yes, dampen the front and back. I think 😂
