This is one of the greatest love songs of all time and the No. 1 requested song of the doo-wop era. Their tight harmony could evoke romantic emotion like no other. I was young at the time before romance was sadly lost over the years for me and others.
Watch mafia 2 iceberg and it would show you what didn’t make it into the official game it probably would be one of the greatest games of all time if they added all the features they shelved
From the British movie "Sweet Beat" made in 1959. On this 1956 recording they are lip syncing to, was Al Denby singing tenor, Eddie Martin singing baritone, Jim Freeman singing bass and the songwriter Fred Paris singing the lead vocal and high falsetto. Recorded February 19, 1956 in the basement of St. Bernadette Church in New Haven, Connecticut on a 2 track tape recorder. Curlee Glover played piano, Doug Murray played a Cello as the bass, Bobby Mapp played the drums and Vinny Mazzetta the Saxophone.
I was sure somebody was gonna ruin this video. Many people these generations can't enjoy simple entertainment. They have to mess it up. *edit* not you tho, thanks for the upload

I used to listen to all these songs in the 1980’s on wbt in charlotte nc. I loved rockin ray’s show. I listened to his show on my way to West Virginia-as far as I could pick it up. I believe rockin rAy has passed on but he always had a great show. Plenty of doo wop music.
Fred Parris was a Deacon at the church he attended. One evening when home on furlough from military service he sat in the church basement office - and wrote this unforgettable Doo Wop song.
The real story was he wrote the song while stationed in Philadelphia on guard duty. He later recorded the song in the basement of St. Bernadette's Church in New Haven, Ct.
