Since you asked whether they got lazy using the same Openings multiple times, it's the exact opposite. Even though they could have absolutely kept the Openings, they added different Variants during Seasons/Parts additionaly. They also did not just add Scenes from the Anime, those changes/Variants hint at very important Events during the Anime itself (most of the Time regarding an Antagonist and his Power).
@@MrDeflador what? 11v2 is like the best one. It completely changes everything about it and harkens back to Soni Chi no Sadame. I think Fighting Gold is still my favorite, but Heaven's Falling Down is ANYTHING but lazy
One small thing you seemed to be confused about. The opening variations weren’t used like in place of another opening. The alt versions would be used in the final episodes of it being in use to represent story changes.
Most of the people who react to shi just do it for the the simple fact that people wanna watch that and see what others think, except the rest of them just don’t care enough at all to point out what they see they just bop their heads and go “woah that’s so awesome swag style!”, but damn that’s a lot of reacting to reactions my guy haha.
@@Handle.NoimDoorKnob 100%, a lot and i mean A LOT of "reaction channels" fake their reactions just for views, because they know people are gonna watch. I've only seen one guy that did an honest reaction, what did he get? absolutely flamed on, people only want reactions that agree with their own. I wish more people did honest reactions.
@@critical_6164 Everything you said there is spot on, to some people they can somehow with some twisted logic go on and on about how they feel and then get mad at others for doing the exact same thing that person did which is just have a personal opinion on a certain subject, it’s so obviously hypocritical but I’ve learnt that a lot of people just don’t operate on clear logic like that at all, they only do things that benefit themselves, otherwise it’s irrelevant to their lives, it’s a selfish mindset to have and I really don’t like those types of people who only act in their own self interest like that, even in such small situations or conversations about certain topics. Only looking for the types that will reaffirm their own beliefs on whichever subject is relevant to the conversation at the time. “that guy said something different to what I’m use to hearing about this topic, what an incel virgin loser”. I hate that stuff it never made sense for me to operate with that completely emotion based mindset, I will never understand how my personal opinions are relevant to anyone else’s personal opinions and how mine should somehow be held up higher than other peoples voices and thoughts. It’s not really fair to do that at all to people and yet there are some who find a way to completely justify doing that to another person while refusing to let that happen to themselves.
I love your reaction, because almost everything you tried to figure out is both completely wrong yet completely right at the same time, which makes for a great video.
The art style is just 100% Araki’s unique art style. It’s so unique that it was actually chosen to represent Japan in The Louvre’s comic book art expo!
All the different variants of the openings are because something important happened in the story, so to portray that, they changed and added things to the previous opening!

I'll try to answer all your questions without spoilers: -Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's is made up of 9 different parts as of now. These were written from 1987-present, by it's author Hirohiko Araki. Each part in the story has it's own protagonist, and side characters. Each part takes place in different locations in our world, and in a different time period. -Apart from our Jojo for each part, there are sometimes previous protagonists who return, or otherwise simply a new group of allies, or villains. Each part of this series tells it's own story with it's own themes, however, they are linked together in this way. -Jojo's are distinguished by being part of the same lineage, and somehow having the sounds "jo" appear in both their first and last name, hence this nickname for them. -The series is known to teeter between serious is often outlandish with it's bizarre concepts and humour, and is even littered with western musical references, making it a real treat to watch. It is an iconic series, that still stands to be vastly different from most anime out there. Finally, I want to thank you for the reaction! Thank you for trying to keep things shorter, and don't worry about talking too much, we're here to see your reaction, and thoughts. So no worries. And if you'd like, I'd love to see your thoughts on the endings of this show! The author loves western music, so I'm sure you'll know a lot of the songs.
There is one rule with Jojo : Don't ask why, just go with the flow and enjoy it! :D Also, props for not skipping the alternative versions of the openings, many react channels immediately skip it once they see that the first few seconds are the same and never experience the twist changes. You should definitely watch all parts, they are very worth it, as long as you can accept the one rule.
At the same time though, it works out better for them if they actually plan to watch it because the variants have even more spoilers than the regular openings already do.
So about the same openings, they're still in the same season. It's just at that point there's a new plot or twist revealed, and the change in the opening reflects that. It's a genius move if any, it adds to the narrative and made opening skippers regret skipping openings.
They didn't get lazy. When they use the same opening twice they always make a major change. These special openings are reserved for the last few episodes of the part
The thing about the alt versions is, imagine you're watching the episodes weekly as they are premiering and you don't even expect anything different but then you'd get even more surprised when it changes! That's why you don't skip them, heheh But even so, seeing the confusion on everyone's faces when the opening seem to repeat and then get astonished by the surprise is always priceless
Some has surely already told you but "Golden WInd" and "Stone Ocean" are the names of the parts 5 and 6, you missed the others names because it was in japanese lol. This anime has no season but "parts", part 1 is "Phantom Blood", 2 "Battle Tendency", 3 "Stardust Crusaders", 4 Diamond is Unbreakable, and part 5 and 6. Only 6 part are animated but there are 9 part (part 9 started not long ago). Part 7 is "Steel Ball Run", 8, "Jojolion" and finally 9 "Jojoland".
Fun Fact about opening 4. In that the singers of the first 3 sing togheter to finish the arc/storyline of Starsdust Crusaders. Next you have to react to the ending you will be "shocked" and surprised
Fun fact about the 4th opening: the singers in the song were the singers of the previous 3 openings all together (Hiroaki Tommy Tominaga, Kazuso Oda of 'Coda', and Jin Hashimoto). JoJo openings are so meta, even with the variants of opening to match plot points (as in opening 4-5)
6:00 not all Characters in JoJo Bizarre Adventures IS a JoJo. That said this show is "generational" The JoJo from season 2 is the Grandson of the JoJo from season 1. Later seasons are mostly connected by the OG JoJo's bloodline, but take place closer and closer to modern times.
There's a misunderstanding that comes from watching every opening in a row like this, and that's with the variations. When you watch the same opening back to back in a list with a slight variation, it seems odd and kinda jarring. When you watch the same opening at the start of every episode 40 times in a row, then suddenly at the climax on the 41st episode, the opening changes slightly, it's hype as fuck. They didn't have to do that, they could've used the same opening again for the 41st time and nobody would've cared. They go out of their way to add something, and it's awesome.
To summarize Jojo's: Follows the adventure of the Jojo bloodline on their adventures with the supernatural. Example: First season's Jojo(Jojo being a nickname) is the grandpa of the protagonist of the second season.
@@kylewagenaar5786 I'm not a moderator or anything, and I've already watched jojo, so personally that doesn't matter to me. It's the others that might not like it. Do as you see fit.
Btw, the original manga is in white and black, and the few colored illustrations, like covers, where painted in different colors, so, there weren't an official hair color, or the color of the outfits, untill resent times, in one illustration the character can have green hair and in other white. Sorry for my English
To make it very simple: This show follows characters of the same bloodline, but due to supernatural forces, it makes everyone’s names a bit odd. Part 1 Phantom Blood: Jonathan Joestar, a classic Victorian era English gentleman who is all about honor and justice. Story takes place in the late 1800s. This part is also about vampires and zombies. Part 2 Battle Tendency: Joseph Joestar, a man who knows your next move and line before you do. Story takes place in 1938 and takes place all over the world; likely inspired by Indiana Jones. This part is about ancient Aztec rubber gods who are afraid of the sun and wanna rock, also featuring vampires and zombies. Part 3 Stardust Crusaders: Jotaro Kujo is a schoolboy who fights in fools in the streets. Story takes place in 1988. This part also has vampires and a few zombies but they don’t show up again. Part 4 Diamond is Unbreakable: Josuke Higashikata (in kanji his name can be read as JoJo, I think it’s the suke part of his name that can be read as Jo) this follows a schoolboy who is very sensitive about what people say about his hair and beats them up if they make fun of his hair. Story takes place between April 1st (First day of school for japan) to the summer in the year 1999. This part includes an odd relationship and an alien. Part 5 Vento Aureo/Golden Wind: Giorno Giovanna (he’s an Italian who wsa born in Japan, but lived in Italy so it’s pronounced like Jorno Jovanna) is a man who wants to join the mafia and who had a very rough life just like his father who lived in the late 1800s, but this takes place in the year 2000, and he lives a better life than most. This part also features magic turtles with space rooms, and an arrow that’s different from past parts. Part 6 Stone Ocean: Jolyne Cujoh is an American-Japanese, and was wrongly convicted of crimes she didn’t do, and must escape this Florida prison. Story takes place in 2011. This part also features invisible alligators and a kid living in a magic space room. That’s all what we got in animation. Here’s what’s currently only Manga form: Steel Ball Run (the secret part 7): Johnny Joestar, he's very relatable and is the favorite of many fans. This part is set in the late 1800s, the focus is a horse race from California to New York. It has a man who has his name on his teeth and the villain is a member of one of the most evil groups ever to exist, a politician. Also features names from part 1 that have changed. Part 8 JoJolion: A man also named Josuke Higashikata, but is a different story entirely. The story is set in Japan 2011, which was when it started publishing and it ended in 2021. This part also features rock people who sleep for months, and a bunker. Part 9 The JOJOLands: This is the latest part that started in 2023, and follows a kid named Jodio Joestar who lives in Hawaii and the story takes place in the 2020s. I don’t know what’s in this part yet so comeback in ten years. The dude who created this series loves two things which inspire the characters in the series. Music and Fashon magazines. The music is because characters or stands (those things which looked like robots or dudes) are named after musicians Ronnie James Dio is the legendary king of Metal and the character who is named after him is Dio Brando (mixed with Marlin Brando), or like Baron Zeppeli (named after Led Zeppelin), another pair are Esidisi (AC/DC) and Kars (The Cars). In part 3 stands are introduced are mostly named after tarot cards and then Egyptian gods. After that most stands are named after musicians or albums like Red Hot Chile Peppers, Aerosmith, or for albums as an example Atom Heart Father is the stand while the album is called Atom Heart Mother. When translating it into English they have to change a lot of the names due to music laws, but it makes the same point but as different meanings; example is Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep is an AC/DC song that has two localizations, D4C or the funnier Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price.
Also please do the Endings, unlike other anime they are songs the created listens to and was able to nab the rights to play at the end of each part that inspired him to take the story. Oh and the 1 Second from Every Episode and 2 Seconds from every episode (granted they are outdated but they still funny).
@@Lapinporokoira You just might be right, I just want new members who will be watching the series to have some better context and have a better underSTANDing of the whole series. I didn't reveal the villains nor their powers, who lives and who doesn't, or really anything. The only things I "spoiled" was the name of the part, the name of each parts protagonist, the personality of each character without revealing too much, and lastly I throw in a "LOL RANDOM" moment like invisible alligators and a magic space turtle. I suppose that I shall edit out parts of it for your happiness then. Have a wonderful day.
@@Writing_Gamer_513 You could say about part three is about the schoolboy goes on an adventure around the world in 50 days trying to save his mother from a curse that was casted upon her, in order to save her life.
im noticing you also skipped the others explanations. You can say more without spoiling much about it. Synopsis are not spoilers, most of the time, if done correctly. Part 1 is Jonathan Joestar, a gentleman that wears his golden heart on righteousness on his sleeve. He is a young man on his quest to fight the forces of evil, a certain vampire wanting to control The World. Part 4, its about solving strange ocurrences in the small town of Morioh, Japan. They must solve the misteries behind these ocurrences before its too late, in order to save the people of Morioh, without them knowing. Part 5 is about this Giorno and his Journey to becoming Capo from the mafia, or a "Gang-star" in order to be powerful enough to stop the drug trade and save kids from becoming addicts, and all victims to drug trafficking.
Now this is a really good reaction imo! You try and dissect what you see and hear in the opening, trying to understand what makes the differences! Your conclusions aren't completely correct, but that isn't a bad thing! It's extremely refreshing to see people come to their own conclusions. Now, a lot of the time, when there are differences in the openings, they are referencing someone's, most likely the villains, power.
The art style is so different because Hirohiko Araki took heavy inspiration from western culture. The characters names are musical references dating back to the 70s, and the "big buff guy" character physique is referencing western comics and how they are all big buff guys. The guy with the tall flat top hair cut was the inspiration for King of Fighter's Benimaru.
12:17 This is the first example of "alternat" intro's. Often the last or second to last episode in a season will have sound effects added in, and a secret twist at the end of the intro.
this other versions that you commented, they dont repeat them beacause of laizyness, in fact they are used just for 1 or 2 episodes of the same arc. in some way, the events that happen between one and another episode is what made the openings change, so they put extra work to make them just to show one time
It's VERY impressive that you noticed that each part basically has it's own JoJo, maybe even two or three even, sometimes, but you seem to be mixing up the different JoJo's with what's just Araki and david production's artstyle, with faces.
part 1: a fight against two brothers part 2: race to stop an ancient long forgotten species of humans from takibg over the world part 3: journey across the world to save protags mother from villian part 4: small town murder mystery part 5: protag trying to become the boss of the italian mafia part 6: trying to escape prison to save her dad, and then the world
Whenever there's two instances of a song, that's not them getting lazy and reusing the same song for two seasons. It's them going the extra mile and having two versions of the same opening for the same season when something else would just have one. This often connects to the main antagonist's powers being revealed and in some way getting incorporated into the opening, and that second version generally only lasts a couple of episodes. Each part has its own protagonist referred to as "JoJo" because of something in their name (JOnathan JOestar, JOseph JOestar, KuJO JOtaro, Higashikata JOsuke (some kanji in Higashikata can also be read as Jo too), GIOrno GIOvana, JOlyne CuJO). The JoJos of different parts can also make appearances in the other parts, but if they do, it's a supporting characters. Each of the parts also has its own name: Phantom Blood (op 1), Battle Tendency (op 2), Stardust Crusaders (op 3-4), Diamond is Unbreakable (op 5-7), Vento Aureo / Golden Wind (op 8-9), and Stone Ocean (op 10-11) are involved here. (Not sure why it says op 1-12 when there's really only 11 openings with some alternative versions. I guess the video maker might have counted the alt version of one of the Diamond is Unbreakable ops as separate? Maybe the EDM remix?) Next in line to be adapted into anime would be Steel Ball Run, my personal favorite. The stuff at 21:10 where you see multiples of people is just... the art style for the OP. There's no cloning going on. Though there _is_ a story reason for the repeating. Not gonna explain though :) And they don't take stuff directly from episodes into the openings. Sometimes they might recreate scenes for it, but not directly copied animation.
I've never seen a Jojo OP reaction video where someone realizes that the main guy in the second OP isn't the same guy as the first OP! In fact, it's very common to also assume that the blonde guy in the 2nd OP is the villainous blonde guy int he first OP as well. Kudos!
In JoJo the intro's and outro's change when major events happen in the show. If you watch the show you would see like 3 references to what's changed like every other few seconds.
Just to clarify these modified versions of of previous openings just happen on one or two episodes, likely the last of the season, they generally reflect what is going on in the anime, but don't actually use footage from it. Also very nice reaction
The versions are shown after we see a villain reveal their power, which then interrupts the opening, with the exception of op 5 v2 where the villain wants to be a professional electric guitar player, hence the change of the music to a more electric style, and actually i guess op 9 version 3 where its actually the protagonists power reveal
So, the reason there's so much "repetition" is because starting from season 3 it became a tradition on the season finale to change the opening to reveal the main villain powers. On Golden Wind they went overboard and changed again after a major power up for the main characters
It's a multi-generational story about the Joestar family. The story is divided into story arcs called "Parts" and each Part follows a Joestar family member in a different time and place. Jojo is their nickname because their first and last names start with "Jo" or can be read as such. They are a force of good and fight against various evils such as vampires, ancient supermen, gangsters...etc. So you were right about there being multiple Jojos, but it's not every single character lol. It's generally one, sometimes two per Part, A Jojo protagonist and a Jojo mentor. In that shot, for example, The old man and the black hair guy are the Jojos of Part 3, the grandpa mentor (who was the Jojo with the headband in Part 2) and a grandson protagonist. The rest of the characters in that shot are the "Jobros", Jojo's companions that tag along for the adventure. Those different versions of the openings are the main villains interrupting them with their powers.
Jojo’s bizarre adventure is a multigenerational show. The protagonist of the each part has the Moniker JoJo based on their name. It falls the Joestar Bloodline. Jonathan Joestar part 1 Joseph Joestar part 2 Jotaro Kujo is part 3 Josuke Higashikata (Joestar) part 4 Giorno Giovana (GioGio is a play on words for JOJO) part 5 Jolyne Kujo Part 6 There’s then a different continuity for part 7-9 Creator created a new universe as a new starting point where everything can be rebalanced and explored (characters we’re getting too strong) Johnny Joestar part 7 Josuke Higashikata (also known as Jo2suke or Gappy) part 8 And the newest part 9 which is started in February Jodio Joestar Only part 1-6 has been animate as of this time
Some pointers to help decipher the openings: - The main JoJo of each season is the one that the intro focuses on most. - There are 11 openings (not including variants) distributed across the 6 current seasons. They are split as follows: 1, 1, 2, 3, 2, 2. - Sometimes, a past JoJo will pop up again in a future season. Jotaro Kujo is most notorious for this, appearing at least once in every season beyond his, which is season 3. - If an intro has a variant, it's because something very noteworthy happened during that part of the season. CNBT's EDM remix is due to Koichi Hirose (a supporting protagonist in part 4) gaining his stand. Until the next new intro, this change is displayed in the OP, as the music has changed and we can now see Koichi's stand in the OP. DIO's stand (The World) ability is revealed near the end of season 3, hence why "End of The World" has a variant where time stops at the end of it. As Diavolo's stand is slowly revealed, the time break sequence in "Traitor's Requiem" changes. One where we don't see it but we see an effect, one where Diavolo gives a short monologue as we see what he does, and one where Giorno interrupts him in the episode Diavolo gets beaten. - Lastly, JoJo OPs have a LOT of spoilers in them, but they're placed in a way so that you'll only see them if you know what to look for. Example: in End of The World, the coloured characters separated by pendulum swings all get markings to show their confrontations with DIO. Kakyoin's web breaks all at once without delay, Joseph gets a sharp spike to the throat, and Jotaro gets sharp spikes across his body. Earlier in that same opening, all the protagonists that die in that season are on one side of the staircase, while the survivors are on the other, except Jotaro, who the entire battle depends on. - I forgot to add that the last OP of each season (except 1 & 2) have a variant where the villain interrupts the intro in a way similar to their stands abilities. DIO stops time, Kira reverses time without anyone seemingly knowing (until the very end when they all turn to look at him), Diavolo skips time, and Pucci accelerates time. JoJo villains really do like their time powers...
17:47, Its the "EDM Arrange ver." because of something that happens in the show. Same with the one before Crazy noisy bizarre town, it looks like the same opening, but parts of it change due to something similar happening in the show. The reason the EDM version was played was due to a character who plays a guitar, so they changed the opening for that episode.
FYI the author of the manga (Hirohiko Araki) is a big fan of 80s and 90s music and music generally so there are plenty of references to bands artists and songs in character designs, names, stand names, and all the poses they do. He's also into movies, the reason why characters from the first 3 parts look buff like 90s action stars like Stallone, Van Damme and Schwarzenegger. Some openings have multiple variants that are used for 1-3 episodes after power/identity reveals. Also, the artwork hasn't changed at all, some openings are animated in 3d and others in 2d Quick synopsis: Basically, each part of the manga (9 at the moment), and in turn, the anime (6 animated right now), has a different member from the joestar family as protagonist, whether it's the grandson of the protagonist of the previous part or a secret love child etc., all having 2 "jo" syllables in their names somehow (eg JOtaro KuJO, GIOrno GIOvanna), some are directly refered to in the anime as "jojo" by other characters. There is only one jojo per part (except jojos from previous parts reappearing as supporting characters in later parts, like joseph or jotaro) Parts 1&2 have hamon(ripple) as a power system and from 3 onwards they use stands which are based on hamon combined with an alien virus from an asteroid. Some more humanlike than others, stands can only be seen by other stand users and have a specific type/ability/superpower. Part names: 1-phantom blood 2-battle tendency 3-stardust crusaders 4-diamond is unbreakable 5-golden wind 6-stone ocean 7-steel ball run 8-jojolion 9-jojolands It literally started with a greedy guy who wanted to steal a family's fortune and ended with a gay priest reseting the universe and it gets even more bizzare afterwards
About different versions of the same opening, sometimes, anime in general, not just Jojo, has a significant incident on the plot happening, and that is reflected in a different versions of the opening. Most anime are subtle about it, Jojo goes the extra mile as you've seen.
Don't be silly! There's no cloning in Jojo's. SURFACE has entered the chat. N-no, there's no cloning in Jojo's. MADE IN HEAVEN has entered the chat. There is no cloning in- CREAM STARTER, DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP, KISS, KNUMB, YELLOW TEMPERANCE, MOODY BLUES and CINDERELLA have entered the chat. AAAAAAAAAaAaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Basically the reasons there are repeats is cause they update the intro to fit the arc of the story - this makes watching the intros fun and is a reason why jojo fans rarely skip the openninsg
(I don’t spoil) You’re new to anime, so I could understand how you see it as repetition- but it’s not that in the slightest- Jojo operates in Parts- Not Seasons- they’re similar but not really, because a season is building up to an overall story, while a part tells a complete confined story (which works best when viewed chronologically because of context) Jojo at the beginning didn’t repeat anything extensively because the parts were extremely short, and the story didn’t necessarily go as bizarre as it did later on- (there are still alternate versions in terms of the SFX but not visually up until the 3rd part, which is why with curtesy they weren’t included in this video) Some parts get more openings then others- because they may be longer than others. These alternate versions of the openings happen at the end of each part when something extremely significant happens, and it’s meant to catch you off guard because a typical anime fan would expect the same opening within the season to be used while a jojo fan gets a slightly modified and improved upon version that works best (yet again) when you have the context of jojo’s bizarre adventure. It sounds extremely confusing to put into words which is why a lot of people say just watch it and you’d understand, but don’t be so quick to call something lazy or repetitive, especially when you don’t completely understand it. All anime’s are different, and out of everything I’ve ever seen, Jojo’s is easily the most stylistic- and dare I say- complex one I’ve yet to watch. Every single possible frame you were confused about in this- has an explanation- that’s how intricate jojo’s is. And it’s way harder to do different art style’s in an anime or show than you’d think. Why else do you imagine barely any other piece of fiction does it over long periods of time- jojo’s has been doing it since the 1980’s- that’s lifelong commitment.
Jojo’s is absolutely TIMELESS. And no they didn’t get lazy using the same openings. The repeated openings have an alteration that usually only happens for like an episode or two during a given season. It’s not a scene from the show but it’s own unique scene for the opening. When I tell you, we as Jojo’s fans would NEVER skip an opening just for that reason lol when you see that alteration you get hype and know some shit is about to go down. It’s immersive. Also I don’t think you noticed but the last scene from the last opening is the last scene from the first opening. We ended right where we started 🤭 but hope you had fun watching and I hope you watch it on your own time. It truly is a unique and bizarre adventure.
Loving your reactions! I do agree with the others here in saying you have a special insight when it comes to anime openings. Keep up the good work! Also, on another note; Could I request you do the openings to Space Brothers (Uchuu Kyodai)? Can't really see anyone reacting to it and I love the music in it, and would love to see what you think :)
I love that clonation and the multiverse were all considered as viable explanations to having multiple JoJos before the idea of simply following different descendants of the first JoJo for each part of the series.
one correction, which isn't your fault, because whoever makes these compilations apparently can't count, but there are only 11 openings, not 12. 1 - Sono Chi no Sadame 2 - Bloody Stream 3 - Stand Proud 4 - Sono Chi no Kiyoku 5 - Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town 6 - Chase 7 - Great Days 8 - Fighting Gold 9 - Traitor's Requiem 10 - Stone Ocean 11 - Heaven's Falling Down
24:10 Because the villain of that part gets a special ability called Bites the Dust, which resets things to the previous day if his identity is discovered.
The reason the openings a lot of the time have a repeat where stuff changes is that generally throughout the series the main villains power has something to do with controlling time in some way and they usually play the altered opening sort of around the reveal and it's meant to be them messing with the opening using their powers and now that it's been revealed the viewer can see what they did, like in the first one that changes originally the villian just teleports behind the main character but after we know his powers we see him freezing time and walking past him
Ok so the first Jojo was the one in the first opening who has blue hair, second one was the one with the bandana and the purple hair in the second opening, third one is the one with the long black jacket and gold accessories, with the second Jojo bieng the old man, as in the story a significant amount of time had passed, 4 Jojo is the one in opening 6,7,8, in opening 8 the “clones” of everyone sent clones that was just a unique animation choice with the “wierd hair” black school outfit and badges on his outfit with the third Jojo being a supporting character, this time with a white outfit, 5th Jojo, is one with blonde hair and a pink outfit and the last one is Jolyne in the last opening was in the last couple of seconds. The whole thing with jojos is that it’s like the lineage of the Jojo blood line with each new Jojo being in a new decade, such as the 4th jojos bieng set in the 90s, the openings were made by a different company then the animation company, when that company became busy with other projects the animation company made the openings in house, with the actual art style which you can see with jojos 4 and 5
It's funny you mention the art style, they used the 3D character models from the fighting game adaptation in these openings, various parts with different main characters were adapted at different times
It was actually very common to hear the sound effect of the animation layered with the opening song back in the 60's and 70's when anime began rising in popularity as a kid's entertainment. The trend began to change during the 80's but I think it's the 90's with direct to video anime, the rise of J pop and it's involvement with anime op and the more diverse audience (i.e. to only just kids) that put the nail in the coffin of that tendency. Nowadays it's a gimmick seldom used and often only during a part of the op and not the full song.

Yeah they didn't reuse an opening, they made a new veryion of the same opening for like 3 episoodes

The problem is that you have watch 50 other jojo reactions
Most of the people who react to shi just do it for the the simple fact that people wanna watch that and see what others think, except the rest of them just don’t care enough at all to point out what they see they just bop their heads and go “woah that’s so awesome swag style!”, but damn that’s a lot of reacting to reactions my guy haha.

“that guy said something different to what I’m use to hearing about this topic, what an incel virgin loser”. bizarre* not wild

A strange escapade perhaps?
I'll try to answer all your questions without spoilers:
-Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's is made up of 9 different parts as of now.
The author loves western music, so I'm sure you'll know a lot of the songs.
and don't forget about how Araki made his characters were so flamboyant

There is one rule with Jojo : Don't ask why, just go with the flow and enjoy it! :D Also, props for not skipping the alternative versions of the openings, many react channels immediately skip it once they see that the first few seconds are the same and never experience the twist changes. You should definitely watch all parts, they are very worth it, as long as you can accept the one rule.

No matter how many times I rewatch the openings I get chills
They didn't get lazy. When they use the same opening twice they always make a major change. These special openings are reserved for the last few episodes of the part

All of the JJBA openings slap. I don't know, they're just so GOOD. Top tier. You never skip the opening when watching.

7:36 The closest guy is "old man JoJo" from season 2, the second closest is this season's JoJo, the remaining 3 are companions/ friends.
To make it very simple:
This show follows characters of the same bloodline, but due to supernatural forces, it makes everyone’s names a bit odd.
Here’s what’s currently only Manga form:
Steel Ball Run (the secret part 7): Johnny Joestar, he's very relatable and is the favorite of many fans.
That's a lot of spoilers
So yeah, the jojo villains hijack the openings in the middle of the season. It's pretty neat.
16:00 Front and center is season 4 JoJo, and in white is season 3 JoJo. Season 3 JoJo cameos a lot moving forwards.
The art style is so different because Hirohiko Araki took heavy inspiration from western culture. The characters names are musical references dating back to the 70s, and the "big buff guy" character physique is referencing western comics and how they are all big buff guys. this other versions that you commented, they dont repeat them beacause of laizyness, in fact they are used just for 1 or 2 episodes of the same arc. in some way, the events that happen between one and another episode is what made the openings change, so they put extra work to make them just to show one time
21:10 *We all say "bizarre" when watching JoJo's. It means the author's intent is working.*
It's VERY impressive that you noticed that each part basically has it's own JoJo, maybe even two or three even, sometimes, but you seem to be mixing up the different JoJo's with what's just Araki and david production's artstyle, with faces.

part 2: race to stop an ancient long forgotten species of humans from takibg over the world
part 3: journey across the world to save protags mother from villian
part 4: small town murder mystery
part 5: protag trying to become the boss of the italian mafia
part 6: trying to escape prison to save her dad, and then the world
Whenever there's two instances of a song, that's not them getting lazy and reusing the same song for two seasons.
Not gonna explain though :)
And they don't take stuff directly from episodes into the openings. Sometimes they might recreate scenes for it, but not directly copied animation.
I ain't Reading all dat, im happy for you though or sorry that happened

17:38 Also the kid here has a Spirit friend thing (avoiding the true name for spoiler reasons) and in the previous version he didn't have one.
So for it being older, the anime started in 2012, but the manga started in the late 80's but jojo had a unique art style even then.
Context of the show really makes the intros pop and freak you out.

6:07 Every JJBA season is about a different generation in the Joestar family, so yes, different Jojos
Those different versions of the openings are the main villains interrupting them with their powers.
he thinks every character he sees in this opening is a JoJo
Jojo’s bizarre adventure is a multigenerational show. The protagonist of the each part has the Moniker JoJo based on their name. It falls the Joestar Bloodline.
Jonathan Joestar part 1
Joseph Joestar part 2
Jotaro Kujo is part 3
Josuke Higashikata (Joestar) part 4
Giorno Giovana (GioGio is a play on words for JOJO) part 5
Jolyne Kujo Part 6
There’s then a different continuity for part 7-9
Creator created a new universe as a new starting point where everything can be rebalanced and explored (characters we’re getting too strong)
Johnny Joestar part 7
Josuke Higashikata (also known as Jo2suke or Gappy) part 8
And the newest part 9 which is started in February Jodio Joestar
Only part 1-6 has been animate as of this time
Some pointers to help decipher the openings:
- The main JoJo of each season is the one that the intro focuses on most.
I think that the EDM arrange of Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town was counted as its own opening, hence why the video says that there are 12 openings.
I love your reaction!! Your energy is so great, you're really charismatic :) i hope you give Jojo a try it's a fantastic series!
Man’s guessed there were multiple jojos first try
And then said that every single character in the anime is Jojo
I adore Jojo, such a good show. I love it dearly 😂
Also, the artwork hasn't changed at all, some openings are animated in 3d and others in 2d
Quick synopsis:
Basically, each part of the manga (9 at the moment), and in turn, the anime (6 animated right now), has a different member from the joestar family as protagonist, whether it's the grandson of the protagonist of the previous part or a secret love child etc., all having 2 "jo" syllables in their names somehow (eg JOtaro KuJO, GIOrno GIOvanna), some are directly refered to in the anime as "jojo" by other characters.
Part names:
1-phantom blood
2-battle tendency
3-stardust crusaders
4-diamond is unbreakable
5-golden wind
6-stone ocean
7-steel ball run
8-jojolion
9-jojolands
It literally started with a greedy guy who wanted to steal a family's fortune and ended with a gay priest reseting the universe and it gets even more bizzare afterwards
About different versions of the same opening, sometimes, anime in general, not just Jojo, has a significant incident on the plot happening, and that is reflected in a different versions of the opening. Most anime are subtle about it, Jojo goes the extra mile as you've seen.
Como fan de jojos estoy agradecido de que no te saltes ninguna de los opening. Buena reacción
I always love when new people see these intros and people think that there's a guy named "JoJo" who is the protagonist of the show
These intros are so good
Don't be silly! There's no cloning in Jojo's.
SURFACE has entered the chat.
N-no, there's no cloning in Jojo's.
MADE IN HEAVEN has entered the chat.
There is no cloning in-
CREAM STARTER, DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP, KISS, KNUMB, YELLOW TEMPERANCE, MOODY BLUES and CINDERELLA have entered the chat.
AAAAAAAAAaAaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Watch the anime it's seriously perfect for the details and the outfits. The battles are out of this world honestly.!
13:30 is where everyone becomes an actual jojo fan.
39:44 I like to call these intro switchups the "Villain Hijacked" intros. As said before, they happen in the final episode or 2 of a season.
To sum up Jojo's Bizarre Adventure in one sentence, we could say: "An idiot coach never learned to drive his horses, weird shit happens."
jojo fans running to every reaction video anyone has ever done about jojo's 😂😂
21:00 This effect is supposed to be more about "the flow of time" rather than cloning.
Black jojo and gray hair white will smith jojo is the best reaction ive seen 😂😂
one correction, which isn't your fault, because whoever makes these compilations apparently can't count, but there are only 11 openings, not 12.
1 - Sono Chi no Sadame
2 - Bloody Stream
3 - Stand Proud
4 - Sono Chi no Kiyoku
5 - Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town
6 - Chase
7 - Great Days
8 - Fighting Gold
9 - Traitor's Requiem
10 - Stone Ocean
11 - Heaven's Falling Down
Best reaction broo o are so good to react OPs because you caught the references new subscriber😊
The whole thing with jojos is that it’s like the lineage of the Jojo blood line with each new Jojo being in a new decade, such as the 4th jojos bieng set in the 90s, the openings were made by a different company then the animation company, when that company became busy with other projects the animation company made the openings in house, with the actual art style which you can see with jojos 4 and 5
It's funny you mention the art style, they used the 3D character models from the fighting game adaptation in these openings, various parts with different main characters were adapted at different times
finally someone's whos actually trying to listen and feel the jojo opening! Very observant as well. A++ Opening Reacter
Being confused is the correct response to the JoJo openings
You're the first channel I've watched to notice the "EDM ARRANGE VER" underneath the song name.
I'm glad this guy doesn't skip the alternative versions of the openings.
Everyone is Jojo
My man guessed all the tropes from jojo without knowing it
Finally, a reaction video that include part 6
I honestly don't know why people don't realize that Great Days also has a female singer. They always point out that Stone Ocean has a female singer 😭
I ALWAYS love seeing reactors get tripped up by Sono Chi no Kioku repeating. I just get that excitement, murmuring "He doesn't know!" And then, consistently, seeing how everything changes right at the end is always great.
i love that confusion look mixed with "that was cool" at the end of the second variant of the fourth opening
