I alternate between Hoka and Brooks for shoes as I need the extra support for my feet. My podiatrist says if you can fold your shoe in half that they don't have enough support. I had brand new New Balance shoes that he could fold in half so not enough support for my feet. It all depends on what people need.

My glasses are a different style but with light colored eyes I would be switching my glasses constantly outside. I do have prescription sunglasses as well for days I know will be outside for a bit at a time but for every day wear the transitions are amazing!
For Hoka's it really depends on the 'model' that you get. It all depends on the stability and cushion that you like. But really go to a running shoe store and get property fitted for a good shoe.

Hey Jared and Britt, just wanted to say I got back from a Carribean cruise and thought about you when I was there, especially as we did the buggies in Bonaire, I LOVED it!!! When we were discussing the south route and the north, I remembered what you said about preferring the South Island so I told my husband and in-laws but they wanted to do the north too. In the end they wished we had left the north island out and just went for a wander in the town instead!!! I felt a bit smug… Love seeing your relationship with little Madeleine’s develop!!! She is becoming more animated on the videos which is lovely!!! Xxx
I love my On shoes. I have multiple pair. Check online. I know they are online sales. I liked them much better than Hokas (though I only had one pair of Hoka’s but once I tried On shoes, I’ve never looked back) I work up to 12 hr days at times and my feet don’t feel it at all with On shoes.
To stop shoe from squeaking, you can put a little powder (baby powder or anything like it) under the insole. I had the same problem & it works. I'm also team Hoka. I suggest you try a different type of Hoka. I LOVE the Clifton style, but other styles hurt my arch.
I thought the ON shoes looked nice and I ordered them online but when I got them, they were very snug and narrow and I have a high arch so they didn’t work for me unfortunately.
On Cloud’s are def an investment (and hardly ever go on sale), but I have had a pair for almost 3 years now and I love them so much! Def worth it! But then again, everybody’s foot is different!
I’m definitely a Hoka fan; however, did you try them on at a sporting good store or did you go to a running store? Hoka has specific shoes for specific feet so if you got the shoe that was for wide feet and you have narrow feet, for example, those are the wrong ones for you. I highly recommend going to a running store if you really want shoes that are good for your specific feet.
