Everything you just said is exactly what happened for me. I went years of my life wondering what crash game this was wondering was it even a real game or did just dream it up.
3:42 makes me cringe every time; the *crunch* as Crash is pressed between the teeth of the gears, the shuddering of the machinery as the gears grind from the added resistance, and finally the eerie tone of the background music as Crash's mangled body remains stuck to the smaller gear as it continues rotating with him flattened upon it.
4:20 This moment definitely shows how much of a good and caring heart Crash has when he saved that baby yeti from falling of the edge. Sure he got repayed by being pushed off the edge by said baby yeti, but still.
Here is my own Die-O-Rama idea, "Tunneled." In Happily Ever Faster, Crash finds a Tunnel of Love ride. Not understanding it, he scratches his head, shrugging and deciding to take a nap. No one is around, so he comfortably settles onto the empty little boat and dozes off. The boat starts to move, and disappears into the tunnel. Just as Crash is gone, a frog leaps into view, then eagerly dives and swims into the same entrance. A faint glow can be seen coming from the tunnel. After a moment, the boat finally emerges from the other side of the tunnel. On the boat is Crash in a stunned/"dead" state...with a prince seated next to him.
To add onto that, the frog/prince could be a recurring gag in the area (like the sharks in Mystery Island or yetis in T-Wrecks). Like a couple other Dieoramas could have him suddenly show up to kiss Crash, adding insult to injury from what already happened. One could even have him *rescuing* Crash from the danger, but Crash still "dies" because the frog just can't resist giving him a kiss afterwards.

Plenty of Skull though. 3:24 Soup-er performance by the marathon swimming Bandi- oh… 3:43 Thinking of doing something like that? Get your head in gear. 4:11 You couldn’t planet to go so well, if you tried! 4:31 Apparently, Crash meeting his biggest fan, didn’t go so well. 4:38 Maybe Retreet, next time you do that. 4:56 Being chicken didn’t really help here. 5:25 Poor guy. 1:20 I quite literally had a nightmare very similar to that scene last night, so I just went and checked on TH-cam if I had watched or played something like that in my lifetime and here it is, now it makes me want to replay the game on an emulator because I can't find the UMD anymore 😅
