They're kidnapping Kosem! Ahmed immediately suspects Safiye Sultan and expels her to the Maiden's Tower. Safiye Sultan is making such an offer that Sultan Ahmed is shocked! While Kosem is being held captive, she manages to reach very important information!
While Ahmed makes concessions to save Kosem, Kosem Sultan puts herself in great danger by trying to escape! As Halime Sultan learns that Mustafa is sick, she goes to him, ignoring all orders! Zülfikar and Hümasah continue to get closer to each other! Humaşah's husband, Hasan Pasha, comes to the palace. Hasan Pasha, who learns that Hümaşah Sultan wants to divorce him, goes crazy! He threatens Hümaşah so much that Hümaşah is cornered.
Kösem, on the other hand, thinks that it was Hümaşah Sultan who put her in this situation and takes action to learn her secret. While Kösem Sultan is taking firm steps towards power, Safiye Sultan is coming back to life with a miracle! As Kösem Sultan prepares to defeat Hümaşah, great changes begin to occur for everyone in the harem, especially the prince Mustafa.
Magnificent Century: Kosem is about Kosem Sultan married to the "State-i Aliyya", when her six-year-old son ascended to the throne, having the position of "Regent of the Sultanate", as well as the power gained by defeating all her enemies and becoming a sultan who brought the world to her knees with her regency. The power of Kosem Sultan became the greatest authority of the state through Murad IV, will be shaken by the iron fist of Sultan Murad, who wants to seize power. With his determination and might, Murad will give the Ottoman Empire its strongest period after Suleiman the Magnificent. The defeats of the state inside and outside will close the era.

Im actually in love with how strong was kosem, the leader ordered the janissaries to lower their swords but they didn't, still when kosem ordered, they didn't even hesitate 😉

Kosem indirectly doomed her son with this I mean don’t get me wrong I love Kosem but the fact that the Soldiers openly choose her over the Freaking Sultan is a red flag 🚩 that things are going to get worst for Kosem and Mehmet 🫤

That's true, but what else could she have done in that situation? I think if Mehmet had willingly went back with Osman then he would not have been killed after.

@@wineandroses6498 fact is always fact. Before she was a kind woman too. Her kindness ravels the situation, sometimes. It doesn't not prove that she was politically unsmart. She did it because her sons are too young for dynasty. Wherever the situations were getting worst, she was bound to remove mustafa and give throne to osman. Her thought about osman's uncapabilities is right too. Osman does not protect himself from halime's trap.

No hate to the actor but I feel like a part of why the Janissaries aren’t intimidated by him at all is because his voice isn’t that intimidating. Like for example, Sultan Suleiman and Sultan Ahmed have fiery voices when mad that can silence a whole room, but when Osman yells, it’s like the screams of a spoiled child. If it’s done purposely, then props to Taner Ölmez (Osman’s actor) 👏

Mustafa even as a teenager had a dominant presence in the soldiers because he was confident and sure of himself Osman may act otherwise but you can see he is insecure and doubts himself

He was a thirteen year old kid, even Ahmed suffered a rebellion (in the series) when he became sultan. I think they weren't intimidated because Osman was very dependant on Lala Ömer Efendi, who wasn't liked (with good reason) by the people and the army.

These poor actors. There was so much potential for them, the production budget was huge, they themselves look full of energy to give it their best selves. And yet, the scenario is of the low quality, or rather non quality, that it is. I feel bad. But mostly, I feel infuriated and angry at the missed opportunity and the wast that the imbecile Yilmaz Sahin caused. It should be noted as a crime what he did with these two series.
