Females get stressed when they realize that the eggs aren’t fertile, parrots can lay eggs without the help of a male.( like chicken eggs) the eggs just wont hatch into babies. It drains your female parrot of her energy and vitamins in her body every time she lays a batch of eggs and they can start plucking from stress. It’s really unhealthy to have a hormonal relationship with your parrot, it’s not good for their mental health, and all this gets triggered by petting your parrot in the wrong places (under the wings, tail, back)
